I've got over 40 Samsung ssd's in the field and over 100 that I've supported to some extent. The 970 evo works great like all the rest. It does get hotter than most nvme drives

Totally revived an older Asus Laptop that had been saddled with an extremely slow mechanical HD. The overall specs on the laptop were fine but the HD was a bottleneck and ruined the entire experience. It was easy to remove the laptop case back, and the old HD. Samsung should include a few small machined screws with this item thankfully I had a few lying around but would have been very upset to have to wait to install due to having to order a tiny machined screw. Had windows up and running very fast and was astonished to see how fast boot up was and how fast everything is for that matter. It finally feels like the laptop it should have been from the start and I should say to anyone contemplating this item to just pull the trigger and get it done it's worth every cent.

I am very satisfied with the evo plus. The read and write speeds are very nice. I’m using this for my OS and software I use most of the time. My pc boots up under 40 to 45sec.. From having boot ups in the past like 1:45sec to 2min. I’ve also noticed with my other software I use most frequently the response of it opening up is much faster as well, Love it!

Easy install, just had to put windows in a USB flash drive and take out the local disc C: and it started installing windows and then I click on format on the local disc HDD and made that a storage drive, its 10x faster now.

I bought this based on both on Samsung’s reputation and prior experience with EVO 860. The EVO 870 Plus has performed flawlessly for me. The migration tool (found on Samsung’s web site) moved a image of my SSD to the NVMe card in quick order. I have seen an immediate improvement in performance for my gaming rig. I recommend it, but I would say it is higher priced then the other cards out there for the speed bost

Solid performer. Great Price. This is one of the best Gen 3 NVMe's available, The WD Blacks are just as good and priced similarly, but I've been using the EVO line of SSD's for so long that there really isn't any other brand and model I would consider. The only thing better than this drive is a Gen 4 980 Pro NVMe ...in a RAID set up.

From my current setup, I was using 3 HDDs with the OS being on the oldest one that rapidly dying. Ever since I replaced it I noticed my boot up going from 6-9 mins to 30 seconds at most. My programs/extraction/games goes a lot faster so if you need it for 3dsmax/photoshop/etc its a must need.

My computer already had an SSD which was pretty fast but when the 970 Evo Plus went on sale I couldn't let it go. This purchase has been a huge upgrade to my computer speed and performance while daily productivity and gaming. You will see the difference by huge margins. 3 to 4 times faster than my previous SSD. Probably the most for your money when it comes to PC upgrades.

I bought this needing something after my last ssd randomly died but honestly work wonderfully and hasn’t given me issues and works fast and well. Would recommend to save a couple a bucks.

This M2 was exactly what I was looking for, for primary storage in the computer fits perfect, now muy computer runs smooth and is really fast. It was really easy to install but it requieres some knowledge.

This is the single best upgrade that you can make to your PC. I upgraded by work/gaming PC with a 1 TB NVME drive and everything is faster. Transferring files, booting, loading games, basically everything I do with my computer. I was so happy with the performance of this drive, I went and purchased a 500 GB drive to upgrade my wife's laptop. Now we're both screaming fast!

Installed on my new PC build and everything downloaded on this storage loads up so fast. It was also one of the more inexpensive options and it fit so nicely into my mini motherboard.

You could pay more for the new 980 but most users will not notice a significant difference in speed. This has been very reliable for over a year so I expanded and bought a second. Make sure you have a screw to secure this to the motherboard as it does not ship with one, but I'm very happy with the quality and performance.

Definitely worth the purchase. Fast, spacious and reliable.

This ssd is amazing, you really get your moneys worth with this ssd and is super easy to install in my pc, not only does it have good storage, but it made my pc even faster than what it used to be

Great solid state. Gets a solid 3k read and write sustained. But none of that matters for normal people! It is however really good with random read and write and Samsung drives are tested to be some of the most reliable drives you can buy. Everyone I know that installs these for business almost never has one come back over many years.

Excellent m.2 SSD stick. Used it in my MSI GS66 Stealth in the 2nd SSD slot. Literally took 10 seconds. Machine immediately recognized the SSD, so i just needed to format it (another 10 seconds) and it was good to go! Very fast and got it on sale for $115! 10/10 Recommend!
