Well worth the price

However what the cheap SSDs won't tell you is that they tend to overheat which may affect other components and prematurely age. The 970 evo plus series runs more consistent speeds and dissipates heat better, in short, you get what you pay for.

If looking to update laptop or PC GET THIS SSD!

Super easy to install and works great, I have not had any issues since installing and have tons of extra storage now which is great!

Wish I spent a little more and got the bigger size, which I would recommend. Massive upgrade from my previous 860 EVO. Load times have been cut well over half.

Speed and more speed!

Was great for awhile, however, some games like Rust still had lengthy load times. Installing my operating system on this and my most played games as well has exponentially sped up my gaming. Highly recommend to anyone wanting faster loading.

Fastest you can get!

I bought 2 * 1 TB and I can transfer a 15 GB movie from 1 drive to the other in less than 1 sec. Literally once I click paste it is done. Wow, technology is crazy fast now. Blows 6GB SATA RAID 0 configs away!

As others have stated it can get hot, use the heat spreader if your mobo came with one. There are faster more competitively priced drives in this range, but one won't find one local if you need it same day.

Lightning fast!

My read/write speeds just went from 54Mbs to 3600Mbs. This added with the RAM upgrade to 32GB and it’s like having a completely different computer. Super stoked!
