An amazing deal on this ssd, the software that samsung has makes the setup extremely simple. Visible performance improvements in games and when dowloading things.

I have tried others but I trust Samsung in the SSD department. The packaging was excellent for the safety of the product. Installation went smoothly. Youtube can teach you all about setting up the SSD without a problem. I have two of these now and removed the HHD from my computer. The speed has been phenomenal.

Just installed this SSD harddrive into my PC, it was super easy, mounted quickly and effortlessly. I had this harddrive up and running within 10 min. The speed of this drive is very quick. I am impressed, it was able to give me more storage space on my desktop.

Nice little M.2 chip, slipped right in and quickly was up and running. Greatly improved speed and performance and a great price, much cheaper than most PC components.

I have not tried many other SSDs made by other manufacturers, but Samsung needs to be commended for their great products, and this one is included for sure. I have had no problems and installed Windows 10 Pro on this system. It loads games faster than other SATA SSDs and other software within a blink of the eye.

I purchased this as a replacement for a drive that I decided to remove from my computer to put in another device. It's fast, stable, and super easy to install. My rig has been using this as the main drive for some time and I don't have to wait on anything really. A great buy for a gamer or someone doing media intensive work.

Using this as a 2nd SSD for my MSI Prestige 15. I don't boot Windows from the EVO as I'm mainly using it for storage for music and games. The hex-core i-7 that came with the Prestige is plenty fast on it's own. Simple install and quick to load anything! Got it on sale so saved a few bucks, too! Highly recommended!

So far so good. Works great. Easy install. Extremely fast. Huge difference from the ssd I had been using prior to installing this. Computer boots up almost instantly now.

Fast, the price is right, and very easy to install. I would recommend this to anyone. Looking at the specs and talking to the computer manufacturer and chat made it very easy to understand and know that this was the right SSD for my computer. It is fast and reliable.

I bought this for a USBC enclosure. The Crystal Disk Mark was over 2000MB read and write. In normal use I managed to get over 1 GBps pretty consistantly. Really happy with the drive, and enclosure. It runs hot enough to make it uncomfortably hot to the touch with extended reads and writes.

Blazing fast expansion for my Alienware M17R4. Needed a big drive and almost spent extra on a 980 pro, but I researched that in it only supported m.2 nvme gen 3. So I saved some bucks and still have max bus speeds with the Evo plus.

This m2 was a game changer for me and my computer. I upgraded from a western digital black hard drive. The cloning was a breeze as was the installation.

I love to use samsung drives because of how reliable I have found them to be for cloning to. The performance of this drive is definitely snappier than from my older SATA SSD.

Nice to be able to get 1 TB of fast storage at a good price. If you are looking to get this or a 980 - Gen 4, when you look up testing for games there is no difference at the moment. If the price gap is huge save some money and go with this model.

this is installed in Alienware R7 gaming desktop, install took 10 minutes, installing windows took several hours, usual windows nightmare for any update to hardware, even after making usb boot disk, system never recognizes the boot disk, i had made two disks, one from windows system and other from DELL, after two hours of frustrating time, i dowloaded the DELL recovery windows and finally able to install fresh windows, If it was SSD it would not be an issue due to Samsung cloning software which was so easy to do. i did that on my other PC in less than one hour. i wrote the story to warn people to get the windows install disk lined up before taking this route, in the end the speeds are off the charts, the cost between SSD EVO version was around $50. but the speeds will bring smile for a while.

I'm not great at opening up my computer and working on it, but installing this hard drive was a breeze. The only challenge was that the slot was under my graphics card, so I had to unseat that, but not remove it. This drive is much faster than my traditional solid state drive. Great specs and great real world performance.

perfect max speed for 3.0 pcie..... has 1gb of dram, although not a huge deal, but it has it... priced competively compared to sata ssd but much faster, although not huge difference if you dont use it for editing or file transferring...
