This drive is fast and provides plenty of expansion for data. The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5 is because of the mounting system. The lock for this device was difficult to work with, so I ended up using one that came with the motherboard it was being installed on. Once installation was complete it was easy to format in windows 10 if you have a little bit of knowledge on how this is done.

Works great. Nothing beats Samsung drives. Super fast and reliable at an affordable price. Laptop boots in seconds. Works in any make model with NVMe.

Easy setup either with a clean install or Samsung data migration tool which is a simple download from Samsung. Motherboard recognized nvme in bios so no problem with install and initial setup. Fast, reliable as always with Samsung. Worth the extra few dollars for a trusted brand.

New PC Build - installed (2) 970's. One for the OS, one for other. Both recognized right off the bat with no issues. These are the 3rd and 4th I have purchased - the other two running in another PC and been great. You will not be disappointed in these drives.

I bought this for my wifes new laptop, it was easy to install and works great. I was able to clone the hdd to this ssd with the samsung magician and her laptop is now faster at booting than my gaming laptop.

This ssd is great. Fastest boot drive ive seen. I have to different nvmes and this is the fastest but far. The storage is great in the sense that if you want to download some programs on it wont use all your storage. I do recommend a different storage devices if you have alot of games.

Bought this to add to my G15 Advantage edition. Simple, easy upgrade to 1tb. This was great for the price point. On sale for 59.99. For gaming i dont think you need more than 1tb.

nvme are - of course- the current performance kings for hard drives (well, ssds specifically). While the performance you get from this stick will vary depending upon the rest of your computer's components, so long as you have a qualified m.2 slot to insert this drive into, you won't be disappointed with the speed. If you are adding this drive to your PC, you should know that your bios may need to be configured in order to use the drive. Don't let that deter you, though, as there are plenty on videos online that can point out the settings you should check for - as well as installation steps. Considering that a data based 1tb 860 evo ssd from Samsung comes in at 133 - and offers about 1/4 the speed of this drive - it hard to argue against spending the additional 30 odd dollars.

Great bang for the buck You’re getting a ton of performance from this NVME for the money. If you do not own a PCIE 4.0 capable motherboard, do not look further than this. You will need a PCIE 4.0 motherboard in order to benefit from drives such as the 980 Pro.

Upgraded my Dell G7 from the factory 256G SDD to the Samsung 1T. The speed is excellent and the added SDD storage is needed. The PC speed differences between the SDD and the mechanical hard drive is day and night. I cloned my original SDD using Aomei, so I did not need to reload any software.

Super fast drive for all your computer needs. I use it for a gaming drive and everything loads super quick. Note this drive runs very hot if you are constantly writing onto it and may need a heatsink if you are doing that process

Incredibly fast. This is the second Evo Plus I bought. The first one is 500GB. Requires an adapter if your PC does not have a slot for it. I am using it to store data, while waiting for ASUS to update the motherboard A88-Pro's bios so that it can recognize the SSD.

This drive works great. It's extremely fast, bumping up against the limits of the PCI-Express bus that M.2 slots use. Great value from a reputable brand. If you have one of these, update the firmware on the drive. (UnaClocker: AMZN)

I have purchased 3 of these 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVME SSDs over the last few months (One in three different machines). Constantly get over 3 gigs read and write on each device. Just recently installed on a Razer Blade 15 and have plenty of space for games to install. Great purchase and highly recommend.

I was in dire need of more space on my laptop. I went to best buy and purchased the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x 4 solid state drive with v-nand technology. It has been so nice to not have to worry about running out of space now that this has been installed on my laptop!!

I wanted a solid state secondary Drive for my MSI laptop, and this works so beautifully and seamlessly, I can't actually believe it's my secondary Drive. There's absolutely no lag, and I use enormous PowerPoint files that I store on this drive. I present from this drive, and I never have a problem.
