This an amazing M.2 SSD! The read and write speeds are really fast and are slightly better than the Western Digital SN750. Samsung makes the best SSD in the market and I am using it for both gaming and video editing where the fast write speeds would be beneficial.

Worth the upgrade if your pc supports it. So fast! Install for most pc's is easy. Found a couple where you have to remove the graphics card? SMH. So check you manual first. Use the Samsung migration and monitoring software. Its free. I've used twice with success.

Can't go wrong with Samsung storage. This one costs more than some others, but it's worth it for the extra speed and reliability. Never play chicken when it comes to your data.

The Samsung 1TB SSD was easy to install. Samsung software and phone assistance guided me through cloning the existing, smaller SSD so that I could replace it with the new one. Very reliable.

Ridiculously fast upgrade for my otherwise competent laptop. It was easy to install, on a decent sale, but most importantly... THIS THING SCREAMS. It's been superseded by the 980 but the 970 is still a rocket compared to most o the SSDs out there.

I felt like I was in a science fiction movie installing a TB of HDD with a single chip on the motherboard. Amazingly fast boot times. Very happy. I think I overpaid a bit but the convenience of picking it up at the store when I needed it was worth it.

This is the second EVO Plus 1TB I've bought. Both were installed in AMD x370 motherboards for desktop PCs we put together ourselves, and so far it's been running fantastic. My first one has been running for almost a year. There are a couple of cheaper drive options now with performance very close to this one, so I only discounted my value rating 1-tick for that reason. Prices of this drive have come down slightly since introduction though. If you have a PCI 4.0 enabled motherboard you might get faster performance with a PCI 4.0 drive. I don't know if you'd notice the difference in real-world usage though. The one thing I wish was that the NVMe drive manufacturers would include some of the tiny screws used to mount them, in case you're missing the one you need. I'm very impressed with Samsung drives so far though. I've had no issues. Make sure to use a drive slot with all four PCI lanes available to get maximum performance.

Pro, 1. NVME for less space and low power. 2. Uses PCIe lanes for data transfer for fast read/write speeds. 3. I price matched so it wasn't that expensive. 4. A great 5 year warranty. 5. It's better than the newer 980 which is around the same price now. 6. For PCIe 4 gen 3 it's one of the fastest drives. Cons, 1. It's not the cheapest NVME drive. 2. You'll be hard pressed to notice a speed difference between this drive other brands even if they're slower because in practical applications aren't the same as benchmark and are real world apps that means benchmarks aren't much for NVME drives. 3. It's not gen 4, that you'll pay more for. All in all I trust Samsung products because I don't tend to have issue with their products.

Amazed how much better then the WD SSD drive it was originally in the computer. I turn on my computer and after the BIOS starts up which is pretty quick Windows starts up almost immediately afterwards. Quick to boot games. I'm very pleased with this hard drive.

Samsung Evo internal ssd drive is a very good and reliable brand. It is very fast, I have this as my primary drive for my pc and it helps to boot my pc very fast.

Bought this and the 500 GB model when they were on sale recently. Work great and are super fast SSDs. The M.2 drives make space a non issue of your motherboard supports them as most do now. Works great on speed, space and price was not bad for what is.
