super fast good price never had problem with any samsung ssd or m2 been using them for over 5 yrs. wish this came in 2tb. the price is still little high

Very Fast! This drive is very responsive & faster then the regular SSD. Boot times of less then 8 seconds & instant wake times.

User benchmarks show this is actually a bit faster than the PRO and it's a bit cheaper, as well as being extremely reliable.

It is faster than an spinning hard drive. Easy to install. Worth the extra cost, assuming you're computer supports it.

If you’re running a hard drive this m.2 nvme will drastically improve your system load times. Currently I haven’t notice as big of an improvement over load times compared to a Samsung SATA 860 evo. I believe that to be due to game developers not designing games with SSD’s in mind. Hopefully with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X out on the market we will see future titles releasing with better m.2 support/taking better advantage. Still worth the purchase with future proofing in mind.

Got this for my Acer Predator Helios 300, since mine only came with a 1tb WD Blue HD. Talk about an improvement. On Crystal Benchmark the WD Drive got about 91mbs read speeds The Samsung 970 Evo plus nvme got a score of 11000mbs read speed and 9800mbs write speed. My Acer Predator Helios 300 is set up as follows. This Samsung M.2 is one of the best and fastest I have seen. I got this for a client of mine and it shows how fast it is over standard Solid State Drive. This is running on a Ryzen X470 with a 2700X processor and a GTX 1070 ti graphic card. It seems to push very well for those working with Photoshop and Lightroom. Highly recommend and specially if you want to close your old drive into this. Samsung has the best software to do the job 20-to-30mins to clone the drive. Can't beat that and it works 100% with no issues whatsoever.

Installing a regular HDD or SSD can be quite annoying when considering cable management and etc. Amyone with even the most basic knowledge of computers can install this. I cannot however truly speak of my experience with this making any speeds faster on my computer, but only because I upgraded my RAM to a 32gb ram at the same time and I don’t exactly know which device is giving me faster speeds. In general this upgrade did make my computer faster. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for storage space upgrade.
