Simple SSD

Samsung 970 EVO+ Internal for Laptop

It has worked without an issue since installation and I'm very happy with the speed and quality. The machine needed a Gen3 PCIe interface and this SSD did the trick.

970 EVO Plus

Have several other Samsung SSDs in my home PC. They are all great quality. Transfer and write speed. There's really nothing comparable. You cannot go wrong with this for either your laptop or home PC for either gaming or just for storage in general. Very fast load times for gaming. Samsung is top notch.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.samsung SSD's are where you end up if youre looking for the best. google 'Samsung 850 evo' & ask yourself why does this 8 year old SSD cost as much as a modern much larger SSD, or more....its because theyre made right. samsungs modern drives arent AS good as the 850's were , but theyre close, & theyre the best. when they are no longer the best , ill switch to the new best option, but that hasnt happened yet.

There is more and more worthwhile competition, but this is still the standard against which all the rest are measured. Don't neglect to download Samsung's NVMe driver along with their Magician software suite for easy maintenance of the SSD. I would strongly advise anyone purchasing this to investigate a separate cooling solution in order to get the most performance and longevity from this or any NVMe M.2 drives.
