Blazing fast

Fast install and blazing speed

Remove the back cover install in slot as described in the directions. Install Samsung software to image you old drive and copy to new drive. Reformat old drive and boom you’re done. Piece of cake. I transferred about 20 gigs of HD movies to the drive and it was done in about 10 minutes. I think the transfer rate was some where in the 400 mbps.

Not for MACBOOK PRO Late 2013

Unfortunately it does not work for a MACBOOK PRO Late 2013. After purchasing this SSD, I have found out the hard way. There is another site called Mac Sales that will have all of the parts for you mac book if needed. I am glad I am able to clear this up for all future techies.

I cannot say that for any other SSDs I have purchased. They are a little more expensive that so other brands but you don't pay that much less for a cheaper drive and it does not save anything when it fails after less than a year,.

SONIC BOOT!

It's definitely a lot faster than the 860 EVO drives I had installed already. A quick backup & reformat of my build, with this drive now installed, made everything so much faster. If you're on the fence about buying this or a 2.5" SSD, make sure you get at least the 500GB model as your boot drive. You won't regret it!

The Fastest out there!

I already have an 860 EVO, I wanted to see what it could do speed wise. My BIOS recognized the stick right away. All I had to do was use Samsung's software to Clone my 860 that Windows was on. 1 tb. 35 minutes. Reboot? Less than 15 seconds from power button to surfing the web! Well worth the money. Getting it on Black Friday helped even more. If you want speed, this is the SSD to get.
