Super easy to install, just need to shut your system completely off, install, and turn your system back on. You might need to configure it (erase the partition) for your PC to see it. I’m sure it would work as a drive OS drive if you knew how to do that (I don’t yet)

I was working with 250 GB on the last, so this has made me not have to worry about storage. I’d say to get the 2 TB if you’re a big gamer. Games are so large these days, but for me, who doesn’t play tons of games at a time, 1 TB is just fine!

I needed more space on my laptop and upgraded from a 256 to this 970EVO Plus 1 TB. Great SSD. Still going strong and great performance. Strongly recommend.

Fast ssd

I would suggest having the little i fix it kit to do any kind of hardware upgrade especially if its your first time opening up a pc. I would not recommend doing this unless you know how to format your hard drives and handle your graphics card and the ssd itself. But for the most part a YouTube video can show you how.

Fast SSD, last gen

It's plenty fast for most needs, but is only a gen 3 vs the newer gen 4 drives available now. Grab this on sale, but look for a gen 4 drive if you're going full price.

Set up is easy comes with good software outside of the transfer software wich I couldn't get to work. Acronis to the rescue there. I'm happy with the drive and highly recommend it. Just know unless you're cloning a Samsung drive you'll need Acronis or something because the Samsung software will not work otherwise. Well, it wouldn't work in my case.
