Only issue with install was anchoring the SSD to motherboard with the screw. I did not have the correct screwdriver which made install more difficult. Works well. No issues installing windows 11.

Fast drive! Easy install

Benchmarks show a marked increase, but in real world use I haven't noticed a crazy difference. The EVO SSD is 5 years old and running strong, so I have a good feeling on the longevity of this drive. Don't expect a night an day difference coming from an already fast SATA SSD though.

Great M2 drive!

I don't have my benchmarks handy but it's read/write speeds are many, many times faster than even my best Samsung SATA SSD. East to install right to the Motherboard. If your board supports M2 drives get this . There is a faster version but at the speeds it runs you will never notice.

Cloned drive installation complete, SMART event warnings over. Back to playing games and answering emails.

Only drawback is if you want/need more than the 1 TB then the price jump is high. Recommend (2) 1 TB in the event of failure to reduce risk of data loss... not that I have seen this. Best advice is don't use these (or any SSD) in sleep mode or quick boot.

Laptop now runs amazing, I should have upgraded to bigger hard drive sooner

Best Buy recommended the wrong item but before opening it I could tell by the size of the box compared to my computer they recommended the wrong type of ssd. I returned that one un openeed and got this one instead. installed myself after watching youtube video on how to dismantle the bottom of my laptop
