The over all performance blows many other NVMe SSD's out of the water. Where a lot of other lesser SSD's will start to slow down after 20 seconds of sustained write, this one continues to write at its maximum speed. I have yet tried to transfer a file massive enough that it overwhelms it's write cache.

This one is no exception, and even raises the bar for them. I caught this at a crazy deal, and I only wish I would have bought 2 more. Trust me if you are reading this just stop. Go straight to the store, and buy this drive. You will not be disappointed.

While it is pricier than some other ssd's that claim similar performance, its important to keep in mind that Samsung is still the leader in reliability and quality of components. The storage controller is also too notch compared to other ssd's. Spend the extra money and go with this one if you want the best performance long term.

A word of caution to other users - This is not a complaint; just info. Found out that my ASUS motherboard/I7 7820 CPU will not support all three NVMe M.2 slots due to number of lanes on my CPU. Explore before buying. My Samsung 970 Pro remains under the mb cover, running a little hot.
