Only issue is it will thermal throttle with large workloads so have adequate cooling or a heat sink on it.

And this drive is fast, very glad I caught it on sale here at Best Buy as well. Now my only regrets, wishing I got the 2TB instead lol. You won't be disappointed with this drive.

I have it installed with a threadripper and a Vega 64. Keeps up with all programs. I am able to transfer and write way faster than before. Happy with the purchase, would recommend

1 TB SSD Solid State Hard Drive

Don’t go back to the HDD, go with the Solid State Drive. They’ll out last the standard hard drive plus 3-4 times faster. Also Samsung is a Rockstar in the SSD hard drive. Get the best.

My original was only 126gb, and this was on a high end gaming laptop, so I had the Geek Squad install the 1tb Samsung Evo Plus. Best SSD. Very fast Read/write. Definitely a solid upgrade

This drive (EVO 970 Plus) is as fast as pro for about half of the price. This is my 4th EVO 970+ drive I have bought and all are working flawlessly.
