If it doesn't up after you install in the laptop, you may need to format it (I did). You can open Disk Management and format the drive with the NT File System.

I migrated Windows Operating System to the SSD and tested the speed compared to having the OS on the HardDrive and it instantly made huge improvements.

Amazing performance

On a side not this will not work with Dell Inspirons which I originally bought this for. The Dell uses the two notch SSD card.

(Paired with a 5600X)

I had been looking for one of these to go on sale and after Christmas with my giftcard I got it went on sale. Best installed in less than 30 minutes and I have been very happy.

No complaints so far, only wish these didn't cost so much. Much easier and cleaner to have in my pc than internal sata drive.

Just finished a build and I do have a 2.5 ssd along with a standard. But everythjng runs on this drive and is smooooooth quick and response Time is clutch!
