Wish i could give more stars. Its that good. Im happy i bought this ssd. Worth the money. Plug and play. Samsung magician is the most simple cloning software on the planet.

Very plug and play. I just wish these hard drive manufactures would send the mounting screw. I love how fast the drive boot and the capacity is great also.

This is hands down the best upgrade you can give your PC. On my budget MSI board I get 1gb/second when moving files on windows 10. Plus it completely removes the need for bulky drives and wires!

My Dad's gaming laptop only had a hybrid HDD, which of course gave him the cursed "100% disk utilization" that has plagued Windows 8 and Windows 10 PCs for far too long. I bought this drive for my Dad's birthday and he absolutely loves it. His laptop no longer struggles with the most mundane of tasks, his games run smoothly, and hes finally able to enjoy the Witcher 3 again without it stuttering. The benchmarks ran on both drives were shocking, the read speed for the old hybrid drive was around 169, while the new NVME drive was sitting pretty at-.. wait for it.. 225,000. The difference in performance is an absolute game changer and worth every penny. 15/10 would reccomend.

Using this as a dedicated games drive on a Windows 10 PC. Love it. In fact, I plan to upgrade to a 2TB once prices drop a bit, as the 4.0 drives are still a tad more expensive than I'd like to spend, especially considering the 4th gen tech hasn't been fully leveraged yet and may not be for several more years. I've watched a few vids comparing 3.0 to 4.0, and the speeds/timings are very close for most common use cases. Since storage only gets cheaper over time, this is a great way to save a few bucks. If you're looking for a fast, dependable PCIe 3.0 NVMe, you can't go wrong with the 970 EVO Plus. I dig it.

The SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus 1 TB SSD 3x4 NVNe is an excellent product. It is designed for the newer thinner laptops, It was extremely easy to install. After installation of WINDOWS 11, it worked extremely fast. It comes with the necessary Migrate Software, If your computer comes with Bitlocker Encryption, contact your manufacturer to unlock it. Otherwise you will spend a lot of time to figure out what to do. It is highly recommmended.

Fast and cost effective storage for it's size. This version of the drive's controller doesn't get as hot either for some reason.

Very fast when starting the operating system. Plenty of Space for 1TB at its great price point. Very easy to install.

Utterly fast, only had it for a day, but I tested on Path of Exile, which always was slow to load, WOW almost instantly loads and inventories ARE instant, Boot time is like being The Flash. I upgraded from the Evo 840 250GB SSD. This 970 plus is day and night speedwise. I had my evo 840 for almost 8 long years of daily use and reformatted every 3 month, So hopefully this nvme will last atleast 5 plus years as well. Trust me, get the 1TB, you will regret getting smaller because you will want more space.

My build is new, so I have no input yet on longevity, but I decided to pair two of these in a RAID0 configuration on my new ASUS z390-E Gaming motherboard. The speed of this setup is crazy fast, so much so that UserBenchmark.com Rated the SSD speed at a rocking 384%. Windows 10 installed from a USB 3.0 flash drive in less than five minutes, and my system goes from POST to login in about three seconds. 2TB of striped data is plenty for my primary drive, and I do plan on running daily backups to my NAS for safety’s sake.

i have a couple of nvme drives and this one is the best one by far. it doesnt get as hot as some of the others it is faster than all others and it is nicely priced too

Bought this SSD drive to upgrade my laptop's 256GB NVMe. I was able to clone the original drive to the new drive with Samsung's provided Magician Software and a NVMe to USB adapter. Everything went perfect. I highly recommend it!!

If you want a portable 1tb ssd this is the foundation of the piece of kit. Fast, reliable and relatively cheap. For anyone who needs this type of storage os a must have accessory.

My laptop doesn't have a new enough cpu to take advantage of the PCIe 4.0 stuff that has come out more recently, so this is the top of the pile. Great speed and reliability and performs better in almost every category compared to other similar options. Though the differences are pretty minor between this and say, the WD black equivalent. Basically, go with the one that's on sale. All things being equal, this one wins out though, even over the pro equivalent from Samsung, oddly. Samsung partition magic did a great job of cloning the old SSD onto this one.

Great price! Easy to install! Samsung Magician software is very easy to use to move files to drive. Blazing fast in my HP Envy Gaming Laptop.

Installed today, very simple and easy. Use it for gaming and functionality, makes start up and loading non existent. Can’t complain about the extra storage also

The NVMe storage is soooo fast compare to the old SSD! I only wish it runs a little cooler. For the price & the speed, this is the best SSD (NVMe) option.

Initially, I bought this for my gaming laptop to stop using ancient HDD, but soon I’ve installed it into my main PC. It has incredible speed compared to what I was using before, as well as astonishing performance.

Glad we spent the extra money for 1TB. The computer my son built is fast and surely this component was key. It was easy to install and the price was fair.
