Easy to install and nice size to hold everything i need. Everything loads quick as well. FYI, I had 930gbs usable after installing windows 10 pro.

I like how fast it allowd my computer to download files and big games alike with mediocre. Can download games from 68 gb (fortnite) in 14 minutes or less depending on your wifi situation. You CANNOT beat this price point. Nab this if you see it on sale its a must have and a much needed upgrade if not so.

Great drives. Fast , reliable, run cool. The Samsung Magician software is great for keeping an eye on your drives while in Windows as well. There's a reason I have 4 of these drives. I've been in IT nearly 30 years, these are my second favorite NVME drives. (WD Black are slightly better IMO)

Excellent nand stroage of 1 Terabyte. actually it shows 930GB if you format it. it support pic-e 3.0, compatible with nvme pci-e 4.0 but don't hope that it will out perform 3.0 because it won't. for 4.0 fastest and latest standard you will need a newer samsung or any nvme namd storage that is designed "not compatible" but meant for pci-e 4.0. it is very fast, I have testes massive mods and games of 100 Gigabytes and there is no delay . this nand storage should not require any drivers on Windows 10.

My system performs better than ever and I've never been disappointed with Samsung so far. It's fast, reliable and did I mention it's fast? I mostly store my newer more resource demanding games on this drive. It currently houses a few hungry steam games as well as Star Citizen. Star Citizen loads in less than a minute, I'm consistently in the game faster than any of the people I play with and am often able to complete several tasks before they ever get past a loading screen.

Blazing fast - easy installation. It is getting toasty in the case sitting right under 3090. so far so good!

Nothing but the best for its price, it’s fast under load it stays cool with or without a heat sink, and the download speeds are amazing I couldn’t recommend anything else especially when you get can get it for up to $50 it’s literally a steal to me I have two of them and I can confirm they last for years as my first one is still going years later

It might not be the fastest NVME drive out there, but for the price, you cannot beat it. I have installed 25-30 of these since their release date and I have never seen one fail. Heck, I can count on one hand how many Samsumg SSDs have failed on me over the past 6 years and I have installed a couple hundred of them. You can't go wrong with Samsung!

Super easy and effective upgrade for an MSI GF63 thin gaming laptop. Samsung generally makes excellent quality products for their price range. Completely satisfied with this SSD and the amount of storage needed for the tasks at hand (gaming, documents for college, etc.) Software that comes with the SSD is also pretty neat.

Very fast drive and extremely happy with it in my computer. Fast boot time and plenty of storage. Games load and run extremely well.

I replaced the M.2 drive in my Dell Alienware desktop. My existing C:\ drive [system drive] was 256 GB, and it was constantly running out of space. This new Samsung 970 EVO not only provided plenty of additional space at 1 TB, but it is lightning fast when it boots up. I do lots of multimedia content creation and editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I also do music creation and editing. This was one of the best investments I have made in my computer.

Finally got an SSD to update my computer. Decided to go with an NVME since it was only slightly more than a SATA and offered higher speeds. I don't know why I waited this long. Easy install, and decently easy to clone HDD with third party software. Incredibly fast. My overall boot time (getting into windows and all start up tasks complete) went from about 3 minutes to a blistering 10 seconds with an i7 9700k. I'm looking forward to buying another one of these as a boot drive for my home network server.

When I replaced the OEM NVMe 256 GB in my Alienware with this drive, it was immediately noticed an improvement is performance. Faster boot, app launch, and file transfers. It was a simple process with free Aomei Backuper to clone my SSD. Fortunately Alienware has 2 M2 NVMe slots. You will need an external NVMe USB adapter otherwise. Of course you can always clean install Windows on the new drive. You can't go wrong with this one.

This drive is the best you can get right now (pcie 3). I have been using this as by main boot drive as well as for the games I'm playing the most. I also have a Crucial P1 1tb for my main storage and transfer between the two is super fast. I put this in a i9 9900K with a Asus Maximus Hero XI MB and this runs to its max potential. Games that would load on Xbox in 45 secs now loan in less than 2. This gets my highest recommendation for whats that worth. I bought this when it was over $200 and was a buy then and is still a buy now.

First NVME I've used, works great, very fast, upgrading next slot with a Gen 4. This SSD has been great though, would buy again.

1tb is plenty of space, bootup us instant. Games load quickly and tun smoother than on my hdd. Well worth the money, future investment.

Installed in my Asus ROG G752VL yesterday and now Win10 boot takes approximately 37 seconds. That time includes loading of NordVPN and BitDefender Total Security. The old Hitachi mechanical drive doesn't come close. Cloned the OS from the old drive, updated the firmware and the device driver and... BAM! Off to the races, boys and girls! I have only used it for just over 24 hours but man, what an improvement! It's still a bit expensive, even with the current price drop but if you are looking for speed, shell out the coin because you've found it.

Samsung offers some of the best drives out there. Read the specs carefully, pay attention to the SSD Endurance, Interfaces (As they are different depending on your interface) and warranty. I added this drive to my new ASUS laptop because I like to keep my data separated from my OS drive. Add Bitdefender to this drive to keep my data safe and secure from prying eyes. It's a fast drive and worth the money.
