Biggest hassle is re-imaging the C drive, but it was worth the work. Read speed went from 500/Mb sec to 2600 Mb/sec. Write speed from 400 Mb/sec to 1900 Mb/sec. Works like a dream! In the process, upgrade from 500 Gb to 2 Tb was huge. No longer worried about loading code onto the C drive, which is another benefit. Strongly recommend this product if your motherboard support PCIE Gen 3.

My documents won't know what hit them! The fact that it's as easy as slapping it into my motherboard is a huge plus too. Rudding sata cables and sata power from the psu has always been a pain, and this solves both!

While there are higher speed drives (for instance, the 980), many computers don't really gain much from having those speeds. And while I put these into RAID 5 arrays using a GRAID controller, I still have never lost one member 970 (or 980). In sum, if you want to feel safe about your data, buy this drive.
