I bought this on super sale and it's not disappointed. Although it's the 3.0 gen v. the newer and faster 4.0, it seems to run cooler than the 4.0 and has the samsung NVMe reliability and technology. Overall great purchase at great price! Thank you Best Buy!

The 970 EVO Plus line comes in M.2 2280 form factor and is aimed at IT professionals, pro gamers, creative professionals, and general tech enthusiasts. Not part of the initial release, Samsung has now rolled out a 2TB capacity of the drive. The new version doubles the initial 1TB capacity and brings a few performance bumps with reported speeds of 3.5GB/s read 3.3GB/s write sequentially, and random (QD32) of 620K IOPS read and 560K IOPS write, with random (QD1) of 19K IOPS read and 62K IOPS write.

I used this for my first build. Easy to install and it works great! Tons of storage.

This literally made my 4 year computer like brand new again, i literally run games like starfield and wow at max graphics with no issues and very little load time as compared to before on my hdd it would take several minutes.

Samsung brand SSD’s are the best, so when I saw this 2tb m.2 on sale , I had to scoop it up and throw it onto the motherboard. Its been great, ridiculous speeds, easy install, and overall fanatastic product..

Best bang for the buck for 2TB. Just get it if your motherboard supports the specific keying on the bottom (as in, it's looking for a PCIe 3.0 x4 module, not a SATA NVMe module). Fixed all problems in my Dell micro form factor pc.

This drive was an upgrade to a HDD. My computer now starts up significantly faster that is tied before and the Samsung magician software helps me keep tabs on the drive health. Overall it was a great purchase to revitalize an old computer.

Nice upgrade for my Asus ROG Strix G15CS pre-build PC, since 512GB Intel SSD doesn't cut it. Great storage and software (Samsung Magician software for SSDs). Amazing value for your desktop and laptop!

This is on the low end of the EVO product line but this is also a Samsung product and that is worth considering when making SSD selections. I could not find the 990EVO at the time and I bought this for a workstation in my office. This system is in use 24/7/365 and this SSD has held up with flying colors. Yes it is not the fastest but it has not generated any errors to date.

I got it on sale and its been great. Normal users cannot even tell the difference between this and the 980. Even by test, 980 only runs less than 5% faster. It is all just a numbers bragging rights. IRL, those doesn't mean anything. Just get this specially when it goes on sale.

Great ssd for older motherboards, but if you have 500 series and up motherboard that supports gen 4 ssd's i dont recommend it but overall a great ssd gets the job done

Been 2 plus year well worth the buy. Installed it running it on a 3080

My First SSD and loving it so far after having it for a month. Excellent for gaming and will load up games really fast! Also good for other reasons such as video editing. Overall It's one of the best SSD's out there!!

This is my 4th Samsung SSD. It's super fast but its running around 60-65c.

The best nvme RAM available for the price. Noticeably faster than my solder 860 SSD
