Great- just not for me

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so i ended up returning my 970 but it was not that it was a BAD product- i just ended up purchasing a 980 Pro because it is just THAT MUCH FASTER! (if your computer accepts PCie x4 atleast) if the 980 did not exist though i would've been happy with my 970- but for an extra $100 to get the same amount of storage at DOUBLE THE SPEED- i just had to do it!

Bought 2 when these went down to $80 not too long ago. Would buy even at regular sale prices, because these drives are superb! Great replacements for desktops, whether new or upgrading from HDD or 2.5" SSD storage. Great replacement and/or upgrade SSD for laptops as well.

Worth every penny if you get it on sale

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.got this on a black friday sale for 199. couldnt pass up on that price for the level of performance this drive has. used samsungs software(data migration tool) to copy everything over from my other drive and cleared it off so now I have 3 TB's of fast storage :) didnt take long to install and was recognized upon first boot.

970 EVO Plus drive still a solid solution

Drive swap gives some breathing room for now. Slightly faster than original drive in Dell workstation. Have a couple 970 EVO Plus drives of various capacities. Have not been disappointed.

It is so much faster than the hdd's. I would recommend it to anyone trying to upgrade the hard drive on their PC if they have the right board for it.
