I bought this ssd drive to add storage to a gaming computer that I built. The drive is very fast and was easy to install. Windows 11 disc manager picked the drive up right away. The drive also came with its own software that monitors the health of the drive and few other things. It is a very good drive for the money.

I’m not in a specs race or a person that needs the absolute fastest storage solution. This is perfectly fine for gaming and other productivity needs. Small increments of speed from one nvme to the next is imperceptible to me since I can’t perceive fractional milliseconds. lol. It’s Samsung and all of their nvmes have great dependability, longevity, and good software to support the product. Only get caught up in the speed race if you’re processing giant files and moving large amounts of data around, which isn’t most of us. Price per Gb was great when I purchased and it’s been a huge upgrade for my desktop.
