970 Evo Plus

These are perfect for the job! Far better option than CF or SD cards. The transfer speed is great for the price...and Best Buy seems to have the best deal around on these.

Excellent Gen3 NVME ssd

Fast in loading Windows 11 and smooth gaming. Samsung magician software makes it easy to monitor drive specs. Used WD Acronis software to image windows to new drive.

Recommend Macrium Reflect for cloning drives if the Samsung software doesn't work. NVMe SSDs make your system super quick, breathing new life into systems with 2-3 generations older processors.

Perfect for space and reading

The reading and writing speeds are great and the only difficult part was configuring it to be accepted onto my pc. All you need is some data cloning software and you should be good.

Much faster than mechanical drives

Very happy with the purchase! Very easy to install and setup and takes up much less room than a mechanical hard drive.

The only thing that is a bit troublesome is that it does run a bit "warm". So if you do use this ssd make sure your laptop has good ventilation and definitely use a heatsink.

So far performance has been very very good for 100! I cannot recommend this enough.
