Worth the purchase and in store installation

Excellent upgrade from the installed Sata SSD

Boots are very fast and games load in a flash. Thermal specs are well within the safe range even at heavy load. Be sure to download the Samsung Magician and also the Data migration software. Only took a few minutes to migrate the data from the installed Sata SSD drive to this.

Extremely fast SSD

Its not the fastest drive available today but it has seriously good reliability. Would recommend to anyone looking for speed + reliability.

Awesome NVMe drive

I always build my computers to be very powerful, thus because I build this way, I rarely encounter problems. I plugged in the new drive into an empty M.2 slot, and Bios (cmos for us old people) seen it right away. I use Windows 10 Pro, so assigning it and doing the format etc went off without a hitch. I transferred all games to that drive, and that's a lot of data, it did this task very quickly. Showed fast transfer rates in a real world environment and hasn't skipped a beat. In all the years using Samsung products, I can say that I don't remember one failing prematurely. This is a great value due to it being a 2 Terabyte drive and at a $100 mark down, so I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Being able to store my games or any content creation is more than enough on the go. It's worth the buy if you have the money to spend for the M.2
