FYI - verify that your mb supports 3x4 or 4x4 to spend less or buy faster SSD. Both of my PCs have mb supporting 3x4. Good price.

I’m sorry to hear that your Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD did not meet your needs. The PS5 only supports PCIe Gen 4 drives, making the 970 EVO Plus not compatible.
Our 980 PRO, 980 PRO with heatsink, 990 PRO or 990 PRO with heatsink are great options for PS5 compatibility.

It is pricey compared to its competitors although it’s a trusted brand so I believe it was worth the investment. I have a ASUS Rog Strix laptop, so after installing this into my laptop I had to configure my system prior to the laptop actually registering the change.
