Do yourself a favor and skip this one, as the reliability and quality is not there. It overheats, throttles transfer speeds, and ejects randomly if you use it in a premium thunderbolt enclosure. Doesn't matter which one either. I've tried them all out. Had to return this just few months later even though I still have some of my oldest samsung drives from YEARS ago and are still working flawlessly. If you're on PC or mac, I highly recommend the new 980s.

A Samusng M2 SSD

This was a solid deal. I cloned the old drive with clonezilla, and the final partitioned space was about 1.6TB. I don't think I had 400GB of stuff to transfer from a 256GB drive, so *shrug*.
