Outstanding SSD drive! Remarkable speed and performance. A wise investment

Great upgrade from my old M.2 SATA drive, definitely a big speed improvement going from an older SATA to a newer NVME drive. Easy to install, highly recommended! Was already on the latest firmware version straight out of the box.

Great Samsung SSD. Still using today. Had no problems whatsoever with the initial install of the SSD. I only use M2 SS2's now and Samsung is a great brand. No errors and would definitely recommend.

I had just purchased an Alienware Aurora R8 Desktop Computer, and I immediately upgraded both its system memory, as well as added the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB NVMe SSD. I used Samsung's Data Migration Software, which both preps the SSD and copies the operating system from the hard drive over to the SSD. The process went w/o a hitch. Once completed, I unplugged the hard drive, and booted up the computer using the SSD. No issues! The Samsung SSD is w/o question, a whole lot faster than the hard drive. Well worth the cost. Note: Keep the original hard drive, or make up a backup of it, should you need it in the future, as a precaution.

Ran this guy in my system as a games drive for about a year before I put it into a USB 3.2 Gen2 NVMe enclosure and added it as a CHIA plotting drive in my laptop. Works fantastic!

I replaced the NVMe that came in my new Dell laptop with this Samsung 970 EVO Plus. The speed difference between the two was like night and day. Boot up is almost instant. I don't think it could possibly be any faster.

I am so amazed at this little thing. My system was built very well but the data transfer rate from my HDD was very unsatisfactory. It took windows almost 4 minutes to load and couldn't figure out what my problem was. I broke down and bought this and instantly changed everything. After installing windows and all my software and games on my system I now have a 11 second boot up time. Now I got a second one for my ASUS ROG laptop and it has a 7 second boot time. Crazy fast. Love it. Only problem is it does not come with mounting hardware. I had to order a kit to be able to install this SSD. Would still recommend.

great drive fast runs a little warm computer recognized immediately.. great price would buy again easily

I got this to be my boot drive for my new PC & it boots off very well the speed are great and my BIOS had no problem recognizing it definitely recommend for PC builds!

Cheap, easy to install and good speed. Great for a first time build pc that isnt breaking the bank.

I have had this drive for some time now and had a chance to run it through its paces. It’s a very stable drive and fast drive. I have not had a single issue that I can complain about. I run this drive for mostly gaming. Loading times are almost instant compared to my prior slower mechanical drive! I would recommend this drive without hesitation!

Runs great. I have been using this in my laptop and it runs without giving any issues. Make sure to install the Samsung Magician app to keep the drive updated with the latest firmware. (this was already up-to-date) I already have the 1TB 970 Evo and been using it for the last 4years in my laptop and never had any problems. So I bought the 500gb version because I trust the 970 EVO series.

upgraded both of my laptops to this drive. One was an upgrade one was just getting an M.2 card. The speed boost was awesome and the price is not bad. Decent size to fit a few games so it did what I needed.

Recent purchase for a Dell 7040 SFF desktop PC. No issues, simple install. Drive is super fast! Recommend updating your BIOS and drivers before you start the upgrade using the Dell Command Update application. Used Samsung's free data migration software, available for download from their site to migrate the mechanical drive to the SSD. Also, recommend installing the Samsung Magician software to optimize the drive and make sure the latest firmware is installed. Note: You may need a screw for the motherboard standoff to secure the M.2 SSD. Luckily, I was able to take one from an old dell laptop that was no longer in use. The screw is really small.

By far, the easiest installation of a storage device I have ever experienced. The 1TB V-NAND SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 from Samsung will be on my list of must have computer components...

Quick boot time and reliable storage. I can't notice a difference in game load times compared to sata but it's much more convenient installing these vs sata storage with psu and mobo cables.

Hesitated to migrate to a SSD but eventually bit the bullet and the performance of this Samsung drive has been phenomenal. PC now boots up in seconds, is super stable and lightning quick.
