Data Migration software and Samsung Magician are great to transfer data from your sata ssd or hard drive. No complaints other than I wish there was a screw included to mount to the motherboard. Fortunately my motherboard was new and had plenty of screws. Another great Samsung storage product!

I never really knew how fast until I was online gaming with a buddy that had a solid-state drive with a like-built system. When we would load from a point to point game mine was done in a second or so while I had to wait on his for 30+ seconds. He has since transitioned to an NVME drive and the load times are spot on with mine.

Fast hard drive for your desktop!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced the mechanical drive inside my Dell Inspiron 5680 with this Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 500GB. Make sure your board has a NVMe Slot and check how large of a drive it can handle, as I've seen reviews saying this won't work in their computer so they call it "a dud". It does work, and it's FAST. I did have to reinstall Windows on the new drive, but other than that it was a easy process.

Evo Drive saves so much time

Solid state drives are the way to go, my boot time got cut from a minute to like, 12 seconds or so. It's so sleek and smooth. I can't wait for the day we can boot computers in like half a second, and not even reach the BIOS.

The few seconds you think you'd save just doesn't seem worth it. Coming from even a SATA SSD to this, will blow your mind. I personally never saw a HUGE difference between HDD and SSD's but PCI-E is definitely worth it. I've had no problems installing windows or any of my software or games. really good drive from a trusted brand.
