Blows Away Every Other Drive

Did quite OK but with the 970 Evo Plus, no more spinning dots on Windows boot up. Just Windows logo and bam, Windows.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing heat issues with your SSD. The operating temperatures for this SSD range from 0°C - 70°C. Samsung NVMe SSDs rarely require a heat sink, yet maintain optimal performance thanks to Samsung’s advanced design and manufacturing capabilities coupled with an integrated, heat dissipating thermal label. In rare instances of extreme workloads (transfer of several hundreds of GB), performance may be throttled through Samsung’s dynamic thermal throttling algorithm to protect the SSDs integrity.
Please be aware, however, that an external heat source such as a high-powered graphics card, or CPU placed in close proximity to a Samsung NVMe SSD, can adversely affect airflow around a Samsung NVMe SSD which may lead to performance degradation. Therefore, please ensure there is appropriate airflow around your Samsung NVMe SSD.

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works pretty well, i had an evo 970 that also worked well, in a previous build i had a usb expansion card, when i installed its drivers it basically bricked my machine, i figured it couldn't hurt getting a new hard drive since i swapped to using a secondary m.2 drive that wasn't optimized for main system installs, i got this to replace it, works fine, given that i still have (very much so unrelated) instability of my system, I'm still trying to figure out my technical issues, but this drive is def not my issue, it has been SUPER stable comparatively to other brands i have used.
