I got a great deal on an Alienware M15 R1 but it only came with a 256Gb SSD. Of course, I did this intentionally since I wanted to upgrade myself for a better price than what Dell was charging. I used two of these to go up to 1 Tb of SSD space total and kept my original drive for backup. Great speed/performance/price. Win-win-win!

This internal SSD provides the fastest Start ups and program executions and shut downs I have ever experienced in a home computer! Gone are the excruciating execution times suffered for years with hard drives! The hope now is, that long-term reliability will result as well.

I was looking for a really good SSD to game off of. There were some cheaper ones but a friend had this one so I tried it out. It’s super easy to install and well worth the price. Plus it doesn’t take up any space. The only downside was I had to buy the screw off amazon so I had to wait a couple days for that. But that’s minor overall.

As a boot drive, it's crazy fast, there is nothing better out there. I've used 970 EVO and 960 EVO in other builds, the 970 EVO Plus is faster than the other 2, but I noticed it gets warm fast, whereas the other 2 did not. So far, reliability is outstanding, no problem with Samsung NVMes, would definitely recommend.

Throw any AAA game on a pc and its lightning fast on an EVO. Im impressed by its performance, though a heatsink is highly recommended for the card get really hot. Overall im satisfied by its performance, hopefully it would last for years to come.

After a lot of research, I decided on the 970 EVO Plus because of Samsung's dependability, their Migration Tool, which is a fast and perfect cloning program, and tests and reviews show this drive as the most bang for your buck. Some were somewhat faster, but a lot more expensive. A perfect match for my new Intel Core i7-8700.

Speedy memory for my PC works great! I installed this drive and only use it for my operating system (Windows 10), and my computer performs extremely well. Samsung makes really good SSDs, and the 970 EVO Plus provides outstanding value. Highly recommended.

This SSD is not only fast. is also helping my netbook save battery while having performance compare to hard disk storage same idle power of an Hard Disk Drive. Hard Disk Drive are not bad for storage, is that if you need longer run time in a netbook, laptop, or anything with battery is a good idea to have a SSD storage also to use in USB port is less battery drain again compared to a Hard Disk Drive.

Added this samsung to my dell g3 as a secondary drive for the extra storage space. Easy to install. Super fast access times and of course, no noise I back up on my local network to a server but I don't see this drive failing anytime soon. Good value for the money.

Total nightmare to install on a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop. Samsung software only works if it senses a Samsung drive. I mounted the Ssmsung drive in a USB enclosure to clone my existing drive. WRONG! it now identifies as the enclosure name and the Samsung software cannot work as it does not recognize the drive as Samsung. Stupid way to do things Samsung. It makes upgrading to your drive very difficult and your cloning software useless. Had to find a third party cloning program. Tried 3 of them until the last one worked. Wasted many hours to get it to work. Documentation is horrible and the software worse. However, once I got it to work.....WOW! What a difference from the Dell NVME 128gb drive. Way, way faster. Proven by benchmarking program. Very happy with the performance. Makes a big difference. SAMSUNG please make it easier for customers to migrate their data.

Samsung makes great solid state storage devices and this 90 EVO is no exception. It installed eaasily onto my PC's moherboard, it was easily recognized by the motherboard so there was no installation hassle, and it works great...fast and silent. Samsung also has apps available to clone an old drive to this card and to manage it. Samsung is all I buy because of it's reliability and performance.

Bestbuy really is living up to their name. I needed an nVME SSD in a hurry for a project and my first instinct was to go to Amazon. They were on a 4 day delivery schedule, even with Prime. So then I went to Newegg, same thing. I then went to BB. Not only was the SSD in-stock 2 miles from my house, but it was on sale and cheaper than the two previously mentioned online retailers! I ordered online, got the confirmation email and then 30 minutes later the email saying the SSD was ready to be picked up. Pickup was smooth and easy. CV19 cleaning and sanitation were in full effect and the staff who helped me were friendly and helpful. The SSD itself is fantastic, everything you'd expect from a top-name SSD supplier. It's speedy (benching over 2GB/s on reads and burst writes), runs cool and worked with absolutely no problems. Good job!

This Samsung SSD helps liven up my PC. Installation and set up was easy, especially since this was a fresh build. The speed of my new PC is even better than expected. I can easily say this is the best performance ever from all the SSDs I have ever used.

Well, it's probably the best PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD available. It's fast, reliable, and reasonably priced.

Amazingly great, worth every cent. Fast, easy to install, great specs, performs very well. Only issue is that samsung magician migration program could not recognize it so i had to use a third party program.

Excellent price and performance! It does run on the hot side though so if you are going to be using it max speed for a long duration I definitely recommend giving it enough room to breath or making sure it has a fan moving air across it.

I put the OS(windows 10) on this item and boot speed was drastically increased from a standard hard drive. The only thing I didn’t know was my motherboard (z170) has the screws inside a thumb screw, so I couldn’t figure out how to properly screw it in because it has to be straight to fit properly. But that was my fault, and after figuring it out using Samsung magician to optimize the drive for the best speeds. The only thing I would change if I had my choice is to get the 1TB next time! Hope this helps! (If you can’t screw it in to your motherboard because it’s bent try to get the screws out of inside of the place holders inside you hard drive. Then it will lay on top of your place holder and the screw goes back into your placeholder and it should be plugged in and straight.)

I upgraded from a 5 year old hard drive to this and I couldn’t even believe the difference. The speed is INSANE! My PC starts up instantly and loads everything instantly! Quick and easy install too! Highly recommend!

Samsung SSDs have always been a favorite of mine; in all cases where I have installed one of their drives in a desktop/laptop, the computer breaks before the drive fails. So I've always recommended them to others and use them for family devices. I bought one of these drives to upgrade my home's shared computer in 2020. Even after years of heavy use and multiple times I needed to wipe and fresh install windows, it still runs like it did the 1st time I installed it.

Great value for a stellar NVME drive, it performs perfectly and was easy to install! Just be sure that you have the extra screw to hold it in place as it doesnt come with one.
