I bought this to replace 960 EVO 250GB. Can’t say that I notice any difference but I needed a little bigger drive than what I had.

The 970 EVO NVMe improved the startup time on my HP Envy. It now starts in 9 seconds from pushing the power button. The Geek Squad at Best Buy did a great job installing it. I brought it home, plugged in the cables, turned it on, and presto. It's like a new one. Thank you.

Great product for the price, but since the Pro just launched it depends on your wallet since 500gb is gonna run you 160 in the Pro version but the speed is noticeable.

Compared to optical drives there is no comparison. My ryzen 5 3600 boots in about 2 seconds. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for performance in a cheap package.

Great and simple nvme ssd to install if your motherboard supports it. All you need is a screw and your set to install this product unlike traditional hard drives which require SATA cables and a mounting area. After installation computer boots in mere seconds and everything runs fast and quick.

This SSD is such a major upgrade from my older Samsung ssd. There was nothing wrong with my old one it was just the inconvenience of sata cables.

Excellent SSD, have had 10 without a single failure. You get a discount on these over the “+” for the slightly reduced write speeds. Unless you’re a digital artist, you’ll never know the difference. Even if you are, you prob won’t notice. Buy it!

It was a huge improvement. Over my 850 Evo. Just because if you're cloning the last drive. I had to extra work for it to see all of my available space as my old one was 256gb.

Ok just so everyone knows Samsung says these are MLC drives but in reality they're TLC. I'm not sure why Samsung does this but what am I gonna do about it. You wanna avoid M.2 that are cheap because over time the speed degrades those kinds are QLC. These are worth a buy but once those 5 years pass you might want to start looking at newer options. If you want to save your money and get good quality, Buy the refurbished version of this. I got 1TB for 180, a little bit less than the norm. I bought it because I knew Samsung's warranty of 5 years will protect me until I replace it,

I was not able to use this product because my computer's motherboard did not have slots for this type of SSD. I am really giving Best Buy 5 stars for agreeing to give me credit on my return even though I was past their 14 day return limit.
