My first SSD using the M.2 form factor and NVMe, this is a decent speed improvement over SATA SSDs. Windows 10 boots up a touch quicker than on SATA. Otherwise the drive is straightforward. One thing to note is that mounting screws to secure the SSD to your motherboard are not provided.

I have been using this product is much faster and more efficient. Even though a 1tb would be better, this 500gb is just as good and at a reasonable price. The instructions included in this product is made available for the technician for accurate installation and easy to read and understand for the novice.

This SSD is best in class, delivers superior performance, and has been my favorite type of internal mass storage since purchasing this drive. The level of quality and speeds attained through it definitely justifies the price over standard SATA SSDs. Hope you get to experience it also!

Industry standard. There are cheaper, there are faster, but rarely in the same SKU. If you find this on sale, stop looking and buy (unless the 980 Pros are on sale, then get that).

The SPEEEEED Coming from an old 1tb Hdd and upgrading to this felt like being in an F1 car vs my normal daily driver. Fast boot times, fast load times,and the OS is as smooth as silk now. Only down side is this doesnt come with any mounting hardware. Make sure to pick something up

Was a great value for the price. I already had a 500 mb m.2 in my system. But it had RGB components built into that slow it’s performance when they’re on. This has no such limitations and is just always fast.

Super fast - and super easy to install. I especially like the software that samsung provides for cloning your old samsung drive to the new one.

Great SSD. Very very fast. Games are installed very fast and my boot up times are less than 10 seconds.

Pretty great, fast speed and in a variety of GB sizes, and even up to 4 TBs. Never uad an issue with Samsungs storage.

Bought this for storage on my PC and the crystal disk mark was very fast for read and write speed . This installed real easy and to format for use with no issues . The samsung Magician software works great for maint and for updates on firmware . I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WITH LAPTOP OR PC!

Used the 970evo pro on a recent gaming build. Allowed windows 10 to set up the bios in plug and play. A 1060 graphics card is the main display and from power on to internet is 6 seconds! Ryzen 5 2600 cpu. MSI 450 chipset. Worth every penny. I used a 500 power supply, but would recommend a 750 if gaming a lot.

Awesome little drive. Never had one before and had no idea what to expect on size. Its literally the size of a finger!!!!! And it also does 3400mb/s from personal tests. Almost wish i got the 1tb model but it was out of price range. Would recommend!!!!!!!!!

I needed an additional "game only" hard drive and almost went with a regular SSD, but decided to give NVMe a try. The Samsun 970 EVO Plus is a great value at 500GB. It is crazy fast and sped up everything from installs to in game loading times. My desktops will no longer be without one.

The best performance upgrade for those who don't have an M2 drive for their primary OS already, or were stuck with an underperforming M2 drive in their preconfigured computer. Great value for the price, and it handles multiple OS boots beautifully.

Excellent speed and reliability. I copy LARGE games to it and I never had any issues. You can PARTITION to 2 sections and one is for my Windows 10 BACKUP and the other for Games and files. I am amazed with today's technology...

Very fast read & write speeds on it. Upgraded to this SSD on a HP laptop from a conventional HDD and made a world of a difference in boot time, loading programs and just overall clicking on different things in windows this made it a worthy upgrade.

This is a great all around Gen 3 Drive. Not too expensive and one of the best performing and reliable. I used it as my primary boot drive for about a year, now it is used as a secondary drive to my 980 Pro drive.

Samsung drives are great performers and stable. Highly recommend samsung drives. The included software to clone or move data from your old drive is so simple to use.

I love that SSD's have dropped to this price point. My Dell XPS15 got a nice shot in the arm by jumping from the 500mb/s drive to this 3000mb/s unit. Easy install, crazy speeds and I LOVE the Samsung Migration software included. Made migrating a piece of cake.

I bought this SSD to upgrade my MSI GS75 laptop. the stock SSD in this laptop is so terrible. So, I look for a new SSD to upgrade. And, I picked this SSD 970 evo plus. after upgrade. the performance of my laptop increase dramatically with 8s to boot win, and around 10 sec to launch any kind of game.
