Thank you for purchasing the 970 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD. I am sorry to hear that this drive was not compatible with your system configuration. Samsung NVMe M.2 SSDs have an “M” Key configuration for use with a PCIe connector. Further, the form factor requires space for a single sided M.2 2280 (SSD with dimensions 22 mm x 80 mm) or use a third-party adapter (AIC) to connect to PCIe connector.

Samsung magician/drive migration tool will be the biggest reason I keep coming back to Samsung ssd's.

I bought this today after reading all the reviews and speed tests. Terrible mistake. I'm running a Gigabyte H270 Gaming 3 Intel i5 7600 @ 3.8 GHZ MSI RX 580 16 Gig's of Ram List goes on. Not the most souped up rig, but it does the job. I was using Samsung 860 SSD. When I switched over to the M.2 everything came crumbling down. Couldn't even get past a benchmark. Put the SSD back in and I'm flying. Good luck.
