Great product but please be advised! It doesn't come with the screws and standoffs to put on your motherboard. I had to buy it off amazon to finally install this nvme. Performance-wise compared to the 970 Evo, I can't tell the difference and it was cheaper. Amazing!

Was looking for the fastest drive for the money, and this drive came out. It is a good compromise of price and speed, it is nearly as fast or even better than the 970 EVO/EVO Plus drives for a bit less money. Will be using in my desktop along with a regular Samsung SSD.

A great brand and a great product. I usually just go for Samsung when it comes to storage. I had this SSD for more than a year and there are no issues with it.

A fast and easy install. It was quick to setup with windows 10. Very pleased with it operation so far everything loads and open up so much faster than a sata hard drive, and the game play is amazing! I just finish my new build and enjoying the new speed.

Works well, is fast and was reasonable priced. Best Buy seems to be having good pricing giving places like New Egg a run for their money.

After researching I found that the Gen 3 SSD's are not much different that the Gen 4's for what I needed it for (mining crypto). Save $60 by going with this Samsung 980 1TB Gen 3x4 and so far zero issues! Would surely recommend!

Very fast and easy to use SSD. Substantially increases the overall speed of a PC that has HDD.

Glad to see Samsung making a low cost, high quality 1TB SSD NVMe solution. I purchased this to expand the memory on my Alienware gaming laptop. I loaded the SSD full of games and never looked back. The drive does take a hit when it comes to random reads and writes. This is due to the lack of cache on the drive. I'm loading games and applications. The lack of an integrated cache does not impact the way I use the drive. If you are doing graphic design, programming, video editing, or other high activity that requires high performance storage then you will want to go with a more powerful SSD that has an integrated cache and can handle sustained reads and writes. If you are looking for large storage on the cheap from the best SSD manufacturer in the world then the 980 is a good pick.

It totally stores my data and it is much faster than an old hard drive format...you know, the one with the spinny thing. It's really small too, maybe three inches or something. But when my wife asked me about it I said it was 8 inches...maybe even 10!

Made my computer run very fast and smooth after installing windows on it. Would recommend!

Installed into my gaming laptop as second ssd for extra storage. Still works and no issues after installing a lot of games.

Read/write speeds were exactly as advertised. VERY snappy and quick SSD and very reasonably priced compared to others on the market. I wish it came with a mounting screw, though. Had to dig through some old PC parts to find one.

Works straight out the box and was a super simple install. Installed windows 11 quicker than ever, like 7 minutes start to finish.

No problems installing (though know that it doesn't come with a screw). Perfect addition for my relatively budget PC build.

Make sure youre motherboard has an M.2 port but if youre here you probably did the research… welcome back… super fast and affordable but you knew that lol

Worked out the box good speeds decent price and fast I am not shelling out for the new shelling out for the latest one yet. Also the killer speeds the new one has just gives them a shorter life span from what I hear
