Great and fast product. Samsung is the best for ssd and hard drive especially bc of the magician cloning software. Easy was able to clone my original ssd and replace with Samsung. Great purchase.

I love this m2 drive I put windows onto it and speed is amazing. I went from 15 seconds booting time to 5 seconds. I was using a 2.5 ssd drive before for my boot drive, I simply installed the m2 and cloned from the old drive to this one and all was ready, 5 minutes later I was booting from this =device and was amazed.

It has been rock solid as a boot drive and holding some games. While I definitely recommend going up to the 1TB version, as storage is dirt cheap right now, this is a solid budget option, especially as a pure boot drive.

I put a sabrent heatsink on this and used it to run Windows on my gaming PC. So far it has worked perfectly and, with a suitable cooling solution, doesn't suffer at all from heat. Samsung makes excellent SSDs of all types, and I will always default to them.

Has work really well for my business laptop, plenty of storage and great speed. One the best cost/benefit you can get

When faced with either this or a Western Digital M.2 drive, I opted to go with this one due to Samsung's reputation for their drives. I installed it on an AMD B550 board and was able to install Windows 10 immediately without issue, it's snappy as advertised, makes for a great boot drive.

Great price (bought on sale) + decent speed = great value from a dependable brand! Just took an extra step in device manager/storage settings to properly have it recognized, but no biggie even for a novice.

Added this as a boot drive for my gaming PC and was very impressed with the increase in speed. My computer will boot up or restart in seconds and loads games much quicker. I highly recommend this as an upgrade.

This is really fast and reliable! Twice as fast as old one. Has not given me any trouble since I installed it.

Read and write numbers almost always performed as advertised. This is not a Gen4 device, but I don't think you can find a better combination of speed and reliability than these drives.

M.2 drive was easy to I stall however you will need the screw to Install it which didn't have it. Runs good and is decent quality drive.

Samsung SSDs are pretty much the benchmark with which to measure other brands. They're fast, efficient (easy on the power in laptops), and the prices are not much higher than the bargain brands. If you're a gamer, or you just want to have the best, Samsung is the way to go. On the other hand, if speed is not important, or money is a consideration, other less expensive solutions are usually quite adequate.

Drop this new SSD in to a Dell G3 3579. Model came with only an optical sata hdd. Used Macrium Reflect to image the old drive to the ssd. Done. This laptop is now one of the fastest machines in my house. This is marketed as a budget drive, it performs like much more. Speed tests had it above 2000/mbps for both read and write. This PC isn't used for gaming, but I'm sure there are a ton of ssd's currently in circulation for gaming that this would blow out of the water.

Installation is simple. Speed is phenomenal! About 30-40 seconds from hitting the start button to opening a browser

I have laptop with 12 GB of RAM and intel I7 processor and a TB drive but the performance of it was real bad that it takes 15 mins for to log on and each click have to wait but no errors on HDD and all hardware was good so decided to get this drive and the system is super fast that i need not wait on anything from logon to browsing and what not ..Very happy with this product..

Performance is great. I had a service clone my 128G onto the 500G because it only had 10% free space. Personal files are on a standard dis drive. Even the service could not load the Samsung driver. They kept the tobshia driver. This means that the Samsung Magician software does not recognize the device.
