Samsung M.2's have always worked for me. Needed some extra space on a laptop. Just put this in the slot and 2TB of fast storage. Use Samsung Magician for more features and updates. Simple and works great.

Fast and reliable, make sure you updated the firmware. Once it is full it loses a little speed so it goes from instant to 1 second for big loads but never chugs. Loads games and apps like a champ, never wait for your PC to think because you are ready to move to the next step.

Quick and easy to install, great quality for the price would highly recommend, don't waste your time with Western digital you get more for your money with Samsung period.

This product delivers as advertised. Easy installation and immediate results. I have trusted Samsung NVMe drives from the very beginning and am looking forward to this upgrade in my gaming laptop. Of course, it always helps when you can get this much performance and capacity on sale :)

I got this as an upgrade for my home desktop computer. I really like the M.2 form factor and the 2TB capacity built into such a convenient device. There are no SATA or power cables needed, so install is very easy so long as you have a slot for it on your motherboard.

I have two of these installed in my PC along with an HDD and a SATA SSD. The HDD and SATA drives only get used for small files and programs I don't use very often, these 980 drives are the fastest storage you can get right now. My PC only takes a few seconds to boot up, it actually takes me longer to enter my PIN number than it does to go to work in Windows because the boot time is so fast. Most games have very short load time, they are often so fast you would not even notice them if the loading screen did not flash on the screen. That said there is still software that takes longer to load, programs need to be well optimized to take full advantage of these speeds so don't go in expecting every program you run is going to be free of load times. This is not cheap storage but to me the extra price is worth it as these drives are pretty future proof and it will be quite a few years before these speeds are not more than sufficient for pretty much everything. One thing to be aware of however is that the package does not include a screw to fasten it on to your motherboard and the size of screw you need is not sold at many hardware stores. Your motherboard may already include the screw you need, but mine did not so I had to order an installation set online for $5 and then wait two days for it to arrive before I could install it. Check your m.2 slot on your motherboard to ensure it has the needed screw before you buy this, if it doesn't then you may need to order one online as it is an odd size that a lot of stores don't sell.

Amazing SSD I got on sale a few months back. It has not let me down once with its amazing reliability and speed and amazing app that allows me to keep track of how it is doing and if it needs any updates for the firmware. GET THIS M.2 SSD AND YOU'LL BE DOING YOURSELF A SOLID!!!

I’ve used nothing but Samsung drives since they became affordable. I got two SATA 860 EVOs in my main rig for games and a 980 Pro for booting. I bought this 2TB for my PS5. Installed in minutes after adding a heatsink I got for like $5. PS5 saw it immediately, tested it and formatted it. Don’t gotta worry about managing my library as carefully now. Would buy again and I will.

I use these for external ssd storage for my work as a VFX professional. Very reliable but they do get hot. Buy an enclosure with a cooling strip or a cooling fan.

This card is very fast. I got it to upgrade my laptop, which had 2 slots for ssds, one gen 3 and another gen 4. I swapped the disks, the one that came with the laptop was gen 3. The software to transfer data that came with the disk was very easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent SSD...much faster than I thought it would be. Best Buy is selling current versions with the good firmware, no update needed. The price was the same as anywhere i could find on the internet.

Had geeks replace due to newer ASUS computer freeze works well would buy again
