Super fast SSD at a good price. This will be my 3rd Samsung ssd.

Can't go wrong with Samsung. I've been looking for Gen 4 2TB SSD's for a while and the other counterparts seemed good but had certain trade-offs I disliked. I'm not a NVMe SSD geek so I didn't really do any tests, but it works...so I'm happy.

Easy to install. I love Samsung brand. Pretty Fast.

Very fast read and write speeds never ahd any issues with samsungs reliability of there nvme I would recommend anyone to pay the little bit extra and go with there nvmes over others

Solid performance. Expect high reliability. But keep this device tends to run quite hot relatively to other Samsung NVMEe's that I've owned. Purchased an aftermarket heat sink since the one included with my motherboard led to very high readings occasionally over 80 degrees C. With the aftermarket heatsink, the device is consistently between 52 and 58 degrees. I took off a star because I had to spend time & additional money to cool the drive. I do like the performance just be aware it's hot!

I have purchased several NVMe M.2 drives of which 3 have been Samsung. Samsung has always been dependable and top of the line. These things boot up like nothing, I installed windows 10 in 10 minutes. Very fast on certain downloads (compressed files downloads don't exist) temperature is great, stayed at 50c for 10hrs. Gaming load times decreased significantly. So far, so far a great purchase

I'm currently using this for my PC for my OS and it has been phenomenal! No issues, very fast and reliable. Can't go wrong with Samsung

Bought one when I built my PC. Liked it so much I got another. The performance is dang near unmatched. Downloads and transfers are quick, even when downloading my larger games. Highly recommend.

The Samsung Pro series is my go to for m.2 chips. The performance difference between 960 to 980 is massive and worth the 150 price tag. I can only imagine when I'm ready to upgrade again what the 1280 pro will be like.

Bought this NVMe a couple weeks ago and have had no issues with it at all. It was a super simple installation, and allowed me to store more of the games I play with ease!

Fantastic NVME Drive! I have 2 of these now and love how reliable they are! They keep getting cheaper and cheaper. I usually pay about 120 or so every other year for larger and larger SSD M.2s

Simply works well as intended. Was easily installed and after a bit of formatting magic, I now have ~2tb more in storage at great up and down speeds for my home pc. Worth the purchase! If its on sale, definitely get this!

Excellent drive. Samsung is known in the industry with the best NAND compared to competitors and this drive exemplifies this nicely in the consumer space. While other drives post better benchmarks in synthetics and even real world transfers in some comparisons realize this: Samsung can do exactly the same if they choose to do so via Firmware. I know since I test NAND, FW and Drive Controllers for a living from all vendors. Samsung’s 980 Pro 2TB not only delivers competitive performance the price premium some are concerned over gives you more reliable NAND after the standard warranty offering as well as a reliable in-house process from R&D to production. You won’t go wrong on this product as it keeps up with the heavy hitters and you will have peace of mind as to NAND reliability (which is where your data is stored) long after the manufacturer warranty period. Samsung ARR on this product is very appealing over say competitors including those who outsource their NAND sourcing. One final word: Samsung’s FW design means they spend a lot less time in Background FW processes that will eat your NAND endurance quickly. Consider that compared to the competition.

Super fast add on storage for PS5. Purchased this to expand the lack of storage the PS5 comes with. Purchased the Jeyi finscold copper 80 series heatsink (I bought my 980 pro before Samsung started selling the units with a heatsink) and have had no throttling issues due to temps. Install was a breeze only wish Samsung offered a 4TB in this model.

Very fast and reliable NVMe drive. This is the third M.2 generation I have used on my personal system from Samsung and every generation the performance increase is great! Some of the older M.2 I have from Samsung with lots of use still running with no issues. Highly recommend.

Incredibly fast speeds for reading and writing. This is a long term buy that I recommend because it expanded my storage 5 fold!

As a person who spends an extended amount of his time PC gaming, this SSD was an absolute game changer. The speeds are not comparable to any other SSD this SSD is the highest peforming SSD ive ever owned.

I really enjoy this product because now I dont have to worry about my Pc running out of storage for all my games. Its really quick and makes my OS alot of faster. For anyone considering upgrading dont think twice and get the 980 pro
