The hardware installation took about 10 minutes. I booted off the exiting SATA 3 2TB 5400 RPM drive in my computer, installed EaseUS Partition Master Professional Ver 16.5 ($74.15 USD) (https://www.easeus.com/), and used it to move the entire OS drive to the M2 NVMe SSD (utility took roughly 6 hours to move 545GB to the drive). Finally, I booted into the BIOS and changed the Primary drive to the SSD. My boot times went from nearly 15 minutes from cold boot to OS Desktop on the SATA 3 to 1.4 minutes with the SSD. The performance increased literally astounded me. I used to hold off reboots until the last instant but no reboot my computer without having to worry about lengthy boot times. I recommend this drive to anyone who desires to dramatically increase their computer’s performance.

Was running out of space on my Dell Precision and this was the ticket! Easy to install and very fast.

Its a great ps5 hard drive. Its a bit faster than the hard drive that comes in the ps5. I recomend getting a heat sink for it. It does not come with one.

I bought this to replace smaller SSD. It was exactly what I needed. I have the same SSD with the heatsink in my PS5. Would definitely buy it again.

The SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe is the best M.2 SSD that I have used. It has great read/write speeds and is easy to install. The free Samsung drive cloning software that you can download if replacing an existing drive if also super easy to use and clones the drives very quickly. I have purchased several of these drives now in different sizes and I would not hesitate to purchase another one.

This SSD has absolutely lived up to the Pro name! It performs as well as it states! I recently purchased this to put in my Razer Blade 15.6 12th gen i9 laptop and it absolutely flies! Highly recommend!
