Not only the start up was faster. Every single daily use and gaming performance increased. It’s a bit pricey but the Black Friday sale convinced me to get it. Can’t go wrong with Samsung! I used data migration software from Samsung and a third party enclosure for cloning. Instructions are straight forward.

Cloned my OS to put in an entirely new build (and it didn’t make a dumb smaller partition, but instead just moved the relevant files to sit in the new larger space) with a new CPU and never skipped a beat, all my settings there seamlessly as if I were still on the old rig (just immensely faster now).

Even at 5tbs I still need more space you can never win! Nonetheless this is a great solution to anyone who wants to upgrade their storage in their ps5. You can also buy a heatsink and and buy one that doesn’t come with it to save some money . Great product catch this bad boy on a sale and you’re golden!

Easy to install as well. To use it, you gotta install an app on your desktop but that app contains valuable information about the SSD as well as your own desktop! And also allows customization on the speed of the SSD card

I got 4 drives in raid 0 on my desktop pc and they were $149 each at that time they appear to be $129 now for however long the sale lasts. Now that samsung is trying to compete with prices of other brand ssds that have similar performance. I would choose a 980 pro over anything else.

Outside of the firmware oopsie at the beginning, which Samsung fixed with a patched firmware, these have been my go to drives!

Switched to Samsung ssd's some years back and have had no issues at all with them. Now I'm using 3 Samsung m.2's in my new pc build!

The migration tool to clone the factory drive was fast and easy to use. I highly recommend this drive if you need a m.2 upgrade!
