Was told about the firmware problem but it seems to be already fixed now, and all units should be shipping with latest firmware so no worries about the drive dying anytime soon. I have been recording videos with OBS to it for a while, no issues yet. I got this because my hard drive died and one thing I noticed is the noise level, it's much more quieter than my hard drive I used to record to.

With all the WD drives being snatched up for PS5, I needed to find something equal in speed and power. My laptop came with a 970 evo plus so I decided to pick up the 980 pro for the increased read/write speed and extra capacity. I ended up liking this so much that I converted this to my main drive due to the very fast load speeds especially for games. Best Buy had a good deal when I picked this up which help beat it out among the other drives I was looking at.

I do see a difference in loading times when i playing a game installed into my new SSD. Also 2TB is more than enough for my laptop. Im really happy with the purchase and I would highly recommend puschaing this again and to anyone who needs a great performance and reasonable priced SSD card
