Used with a Gigabyte AM 5 motherboard that has a built-in heat sink for Pcle M2 memory. Memory was easy to install - the motherboard has a snap on for fastening the memory - and was ready on booting. Works quickly and was easy to partition into three partitions for working files.

Drive is very fast and at most testing reaching over 6800 read and 3200 write. moving large data sets within the drive is very fast, being bottlenecked only when moving data to slower drives.

Works Great with the PS5.

Like other reviews have stated, it's best to update before use. It will work good out of the box but it is a bit faster after the update. I purchased a heatsink separately and haven't had a single issue with anything. Also I was told it's best to remove the sticker with the barcode/serial number on the SSD before installation.

Great for Laptops and PS5

Don’t forget the heat sink if you use this for a PS5. Load times are so much quicker on my laptop and doubling the memory on the PS5 helped a lot because of digital games.
