Excellent solid state hard drive. So quick its like there are no load times on games. Works very well for PS5

The next gen 4 x 4 NVMe SSDs are now coming out which makes these first gen 4 x 4 a great deal. This 980 Pro is very fast and so far I have them installed in both 3 x 4 PCIe and 4 x 4 PCIe NVMe slots and they work without issue. I recommend downloading Samsung Magician software for monitoring the SSD for health and temps.

I have a Samsung - 980 PRO 1TB Internal Gaming SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe installed and liked the performance so much I purchased the 2 TB versions. They work great together for internal file transfers. Samsung Magician works great with both drives. Side not. To keep performance at its maximum DO NOT run these drives in Raid. It will hurt the performance.

Very fast drive and works with pcie 3.0 boards. IT does run a little hotter than your typical pcie 3.0 drive .

Easy to install and fast as heck. This is going to make things a lot easier for video editing.

Amazing speeds with this drive. Transferring files is made a lot quicker than a 2.5” sata 6 SSD. This is great for the form factor and video editors. If your buying this expecting better gaming performance or load times than standard SSD’s you’ll be disappointed. This drive is unique because of its read and write data transfer speeds, not it’s gaming performance. Keep that in mind if considering. Other than that it’s an awesome piece of tech

Cheap and fast alternative for PS5 Internal SSD. Have no issues with mine so far.

I bought two of these. One to upgrade my laptop and one for my PS5. Don’t forget the heat sink if you use this for a PS5. Load times are so much quicker on my laptop and doubling the memory on the PS5 helped a lot because of digital games.

Very good ssd, installed it on my laptop and with a heatsink this thing is a beast.

Sale price was excellent. Used with a Gigabyte AM 5 motherboard that has a built-in heat sink for Pcle M2 memory. Memory was easy to install - the motherboard has a snap on for fastening the memory - and was ready on booting. Works quickly and was easy to partition into three partitions for working files.

Works perfectly. No issues. Easy to install, difficulties were all PS5 issues.

I totally recomend this model of the Samnsung SSD, I compare it vs other similar and more expensive options, this one is a very good price-quality relationship. I works for PS5 but I would recomend a compatible heatsink for that.
