Read and write speeds as advertised. Quick and easy upgrade. I used it with a Sabrent NVME Pcie adapter. Speeds were very close to M.2 motherboard drive speeds. Tested identical drives except motherboard drive had built on heatsink.

I thought my 970 EVO was quick, but this blows it out of the water. I have the 1TB 980 Pro also as a boot drive, and from initial power on to working desktop is about 10 seconds. I highly recommend this drive. It is a bit pricey, but caught it on sale, so it wasn't too bad. Download the Samsung Magician software and update the firmware to keep the drive running at its peak.

I have converted all of my PCs to SSD, goodbye slow spinning hard drives! Sure these are not cheap, but the costs are slowly dropping. The read/write speeds of this drive are insane. Running this exact drive in 2 gaming PCs, 2 laptops, and my PS5. There are other brands that are cheaper and almost as fast as well, but I will stick with the bigger name here.

I upgraded from a 1TB to 2TB as prices have dropped. Easy to install in PS5, you do need a heat sink. The Insignia one BB stocks is a great companion. No issues, high performance.

Otherwise amazing system has been up 24/7 since install and just that one issue.

Windows loads super fast. Samsungs cloning program works well to migrate all your data over. Lightning fast speeds and temps are steady with no jeating issues. I had to buy another one of these since they are on sale. You won't disappointed.
