Samsung 980 Pro Excellent SSD

Using the Magician Software, I did not have any issues copying the content of my current smaller SSD unto it. Once I switched it to be the boot drive, it loaded Windows much faster than my old SSD. I am very happy with my purchase.

I would definitely recommend this to everyone as it works flawlessly with the PS5 and can only assume it does on a PC too.

Super Happy—Lightning Fast!

Incredibly fast, my computer doesn’t even seem like it’s booting up—it’s just on! A couple of seconds and I’m signing in! There are definitely cheaper options out there, but if you can manage it, these Samsung NVMe drives are AMAZING!!!

For PC if your motherboard supports PCI-e 4.0 M.2 drives at this price there is no excuse to still be using spinning disk HDD’s for games and programs. Upgrade now you will notice.

I had to do a full clean install because the Samsung data migration software would not work with the SSD. I did the firmware update and the data migration software would go to 99% hang and then would display an unknown error message. So after the 3rd try, I did a fresh install of windows 10 and the 11 update and have not had any issues

I went from a 512GB to this and now I have enough room plus more for my productions software. Great buy. Love the fact that I was able to clone my hard drive and it booted right up.
