Super fast I just came from a Samsung 790 evo plus on my last rig with 4 years of use and it had not slowed down. I am hopeful for similar results. But access is fast on this generation! I have 2 in my system one for boot and one for data.

Drive is very fast and so far has worked flawlessly.

I have two of these in my latest build - read speeds are at 6939 and 6908 mpbs. write speeds hover around 5200. I'm just using the heat sinks from the mobo, benchmarking pushed the temps up to 40c, never higher. I won't say I live only in the Samsung brand, however I do prefer them over other brands for stability.

Super fast drive with tons of space for OS and quite a few games

Added this to my laptop and was extremely happy and satisfied, when I was able to install a lot more of my steam library. I still have about 500-550 Gb left of space. Definitely worth the investment if you have a gaming laptop and desire more space.

Faster then expected. A breeze to install. Gen4 is nice over Gen3

Fast easy to install and data transfer from old ssd easy with included software. Two cautions. Old must be unencrypted and you will need an external enclosure if you only have one M2 slot in your computer

These cards are generally well-rated. I've only had it a couple of weeks but so far I agree. I use one in an Insignia enclosure and one in an Acasis enclosure on a Mac Studio. I use them for video editing and they work quite well.

Amazing read and write speeds. Make sure you have a pcie 4.0 Nvme slot on your motherboard to use this to it's full potential. Also you can use Samsung's magician software to keep it's firmware up to date and to see other specs.

Great SSD for the price! I have not had any issues with it, and 2 tb has given me plenty of room for all my games. If you run out of space you can always get another one if your build allows for it.

I am using this as a boot drive after rebuilding my machine. Works great, boots in seconds. Steam is writing updates much faster. Game play is working great on the new build partly thanks to this SSD.

Use this on a custom built video/photo editing desktop that also handles mixing music. I have one of these as a split C:/D: drive and a second as a pure data drive. Excessive? Not for what I do. I need something that can keep up with an AMD 12 core processor, and this does the job regardless of how big the files are I am working with.

Have not used this version yet with 7000/5000 read/write speeds. I use the lesser one with like 3450 or so and love it for my desktop and laptop. Super fast. I am in the process of rebuilding my desktop with AMD 5950x CPU and 128gb of ram so once i get it built then i will see for sure. I gt it at a really great deal for black friday so couldn't pass it up.

I've been waiting for the price to drop on the 980 Pro line for a while now. They are as fast as described and I'm using this one for a game drive in a Gen4 slot. So far it's the fastest of any of the Gen4 SSDs I've tried so far in various AM4 builds.

Great drive, all of the PC's in the house are running Samsung NVME's so far no failures and all of them are very fast. No complaints. I will be buying more. Not to mention this one was a pricematch so it was an amazing deal.
