Amazing Nvme Drive

Make sure you have a pcie 4.0 Nvme slot on your motherboard to use this to it's full potential. Also you can use Samsung's magician software to keep it's firmware up to date and to see other specs.

Two cautions. Old must be unencrypted and you will need an external enclosure if you only have one M2 slot in your computer

Fast, price has dropped, and 2 TB is plenty

They are as fast as described and I'm using this one for a game drive in a Gen4 slot. So far it's the fastest of any of the Gen4 SSDs I've tried so far in various AM4 builds.

Bought this one to take full advantage of what my motherboard offers. Be sure to check your motherboard manuals in regards to whether your m.2 slots are gen 3 or 4. If they are gen 3 you will see little benefit to this and you might as well go with the 970 evo plus and save some money.

Great SSD

Works great, boots in seconds. Steam is writing updates much faster. Game play is working great on the new build partly thanks to this SSD.

I have not had any issues with it, and 2 tb has given me plenty of room for all my games. If you run out of space you can always get another one if your build allows for it.

Screaming Fast

No complaints. I will be buying more. Not to mention this one was a pricematch so it was an amazing deal.

If you have a traditional hard drive to replace (and you have the proper M.2 slot), this is the way to go.

Fast, not as hot as WD850X

I wasn’t able to reach the listed performance data in my Z790 board - approx. 20% below, even with latest driver. Still trying to figure out why. However, performance is still more than needed.

SAMSUNG 980 PRO 2TB SSD PCIE

I was able to purchase two of these SAMSUNG SSDs for an extremely great price. These are a tremendous upgrade to the Original SSDs installed by Dell. Shipping was fast and safe, right to the front door. Best Buy did a wonderful job, outstanding transaction. Highly recommend Best Buy.
