Very fast NVME with no downside as of yet.

The manual states that the prebuilt R11 can only accept 1tb NVME but I haven’t had any issues since I installed it. Super fast. Fast enough that it will stop writing so that the internet can download.

It's definitely fast! Samsung Magician software makes configuration and health monitoring easy. It wasn't until after I bought the drive and installed it that I discovered the ongoing problems with the 980 and 990 regarding unexpectedly fast drive degradation. I am not sure if the drive came with the latest fixed firmware, but it definitely has it now. Still keeping an eye on it.

I attached a low profile heat sink on it, installed it in the PS5, and it works perfectly. Samsung makes very good memory modules that are fast and reliable. Quality product that I would recommend.

This is well within the recommended range for the system. This will need the heat sink (sold separately) because it will get very hot.

It absolutely is an improvement in speed compared to the ssd that came installed in my laptop. The only thing of note that may be helpful to others, is that if you don't have a pcIe 4.0 slot, you will not get the top speeds this is capable of producing.

But i dont regret buying it at that price cause the difference was just night and day

Lightning Fast

The P2 isn't bad by any means but the 980 Pro is miles above.

I highly recommend! The 990 Pro just dropped but it's not significantly better than the 980 Pro. I got a great price with this one and am really happy with it.
