This is another Samsung drive that has a performance for the price. Great overall for gaming, Windows 10 or 11, and programs that need decent random read/write speeds. Currently have both the 1Tb and 2Tb models.

In my opinion, Samsung is the #1 brand in Solid State Drives. Very Fast. Ive been using these since they first came out , including the Samsung External SSDs. Very Fast!

Get it if you want a 2TB SSD expansion for your PS5. I paid $99 summer of 2023. Don’t pay a cent more. Will need heat sink as well, necessary to install SSD.

How about this at the recommendation of one of my friends because I am in the process of building a gaming computer.? This will be used to store games and the operating system if you have the spare money and plan on downloading a lot of games. Then consider buying 2 of these if your mother board can handle it.

Just recently bought a new PC, but wasn't sure what I wanted to use for memory. After doing some research, I settled on the Samsung 980 Pro. It works like a charm!

I've only bought Samsung SSDs since they came on scene and I have never had an issue with them so it's all I'll ever buy. Happy with performance and their software has always worked great for me too. Best to catch them when on sale.

The drive worked perfectly. Installation was tricky due to the motherboard design. Initializing and formatting finished without a problem. No issues with performance.

Does exactly what a 2T ssd memory stick does. Would definitely recommend and possibly buy another for backup storage

This is a beast. I bought two of these for a gaming PC that I had built and the download speeds are insane. It can download over 120GB in less than 5 minutes. In comparison to other computers I have used that take about an hour to download something that big. I love these!

Really needed an SSD for my computer and this was exactly what I needed. Fast and reliable with a good amount of storage space

I have Alienware X17 R1 with 3080 RTX with Intel Processor. It's a +$4000 laptop which is the most advanced and more exotic laptop in the market. When you have the best of the best you only want the best. (and this is the same NVMe on my X17)

Very fast M2 SSD and plenty of data storage, so far so good.

Made this the primary drive for the OS and several other files like documents etc.

This is my second 980 Pro purchase and both items perform exactly as advertised. They are very speedy and are one of the best ways you can upgrade your system while keeping costs reasonable.

Samsung does have a newer, slightly faster version of this out now. But unless it’s on sale, and this isn’t, it’s likely not worth the extra price. This is super fast, high capacity, and not unreasonably priced.

Excellent gaming SSD. Upgraded my 120 Samsung 840 EVO SSD to this and it's night and day difference. So much faster. The Samsung magician software is also really great as seeing more in depth info about your drive.

My laptop only had 512 GB. This was a necessary upgrade. Now I can store both-the videos I edit as well as the video games I love to play.

Needed to replace a bad hard drive, able to replace the drive with a larger size drive. Laptop has been working fine and faster since the upgrade.

Super easy to install to replace my small ssd. Works great and havent had any issues.
