Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really only got this because it was too terabytes and I figured the 980 pro would be faster than anything I've had but I really don't notice any difference on boot or game loading I think once you get to a certain point with these ssds the extra speed does not matter unless you're doing certain things which I do not do mainly just gaming.

Outside of the BestBuy warranty. I'm now having to deal with Samsung who is doing everything they can to stiff me on the warranty. I've submitted all the information they requested along with a picture, and they responded by closing the ticket. Now they are ignoring my attempts to start a new ticket. They obviously have no intention of replacing this failed SSD. The failure came about with absolutely no warning. One day everything is working as it should. The next, the computer won't boot up. I run the limited diagnostics I can from command prompt, and the motherboard will no longer access the drive. None of the information on it is recoverable. This put my streaming computer out of commission. Parts fail, it's a thing in life. Nothing is perfect, while I'm not happy about it failing, that is life. What I'm angry about is how they are treating me with the warranty. A 5 year warranty doesn't mean anything if they don't honor it. Buy at your own risk. If this drive fails, they will not replace it. After mine failed, I looked up possible causes. It's a known issue with the drive. I guess they replaced as many as they are willing to. Now they just consider anyone who has one when it fails to be a lost customer. Again, buy at your own risk. Samsung will not help you with a known faulty product.
