    Outstanding! At first I was unable to initialize the SSD using my current laptop with an external connector, and eventually thought it might be defective because I've initialized, formatted and cloned at least 6 Pro 970's with this method. Then I thought it was possibly due to the fact that this laptop only has PCIe 3.0 capabilities. So I installed it into my new MSI Unify motherboard, and sure enough, it was immediately recognized and I installed my OS. Once all the drivers were updated for the new home built desktop, this SSD works as described. Great match for the Ryzen 9 3950x!
