Samsung has yet to let me down with their SSDs.

Naturally, when I considered the SSD options for my PS5, I looked for another Samsung one and here I am. This SSD delivered on its advertised performance values, and most importantly, it works. 10/10.

It's pretty straightforward stuff. Nothing fancy, maybe a bit overpriced for what it is, but that's how it is with tech. Just make sure you follow the guide for installation and formatting, saving etc. It's a bit of a tight fit in a PS5 but is doable!

Be careful taking the SSD cover off and inserting it into the slot it will be a small washer that has to stay between the connection pin and the ssd

The only thing better is the 2 tb version for the additional space. As of 2023 you cannot go wrong with this and you also get a optional heat sink cover.

Don’t even think about it if you are on the fence. Just like many ps5 users the storage was a hassle. This made all my ps5 problems disappear and was worth all the money. Buy it instantly if you are considering an SSD
