I bought this for upgrading my ps5 storage. Installation was extremely easy. I looked up a guide and it's pretty straightforward. Once I booted up the drive was recognized and a quick format of the drive was all that was needed. Best price/gig on a gen4 drive right now. If you need more storage definitely get the 2tb version.

The 980 Pro is a good value when it is on sale. The 1TB model as 1GB of VRAM which will make the SSD last substantially longer under light use scenarios. That being said, it is outperformed in nearly every way by the SK Hynix Platinum drive, which is both faster and more durable, while using much less power so it runs cooler.
