It is well worth the money, for 2tb, Samsung has truly saved the day. And so easy to install ,i couldnt believe it Uploaded 17 games, and still .have a 1/2 and 1tb left. The best move, i ever made.

The main purpose of my purchase was to upgrade my storage on my PlayStation 5. I had a 1TB SSD but it filled up disturbingly fast, which forced me to do the dreaded delete of games I haven’t played or have completed but wanted to continue for the platinum. With the 2TB variant, I thankfully have more wiggle room to install and download to my hearts content. The data transfer speeds are blazing fast, especially when transferring and downloading my PS5 games. I highly recommend this drive, but catch it on sale if possible.

Great value right now! It's so fast that even in my pcie 3.0 slot it's faster than my sata ssds! The heat sink was a must for me. The only negative is the m.2 form factor is not fun to install. Those tiny screws!

I bought it for a ps5 gaming device where I removed the games to a samsung ssd 980 Pro the amount of space is 650Gb within 2 minutes of time it is unbelievable how fast it is

This is a really great internal SSD for a really great price. Super happy with it! The heatsink is also big and protective for if youre running a hot gaming PC.

I’m the opposite of good with computer stuff and this was stupid easy to install in my PS5. Sony put out a video how to add it to the system. Works as advertised and integrated seamlessly into the PS5

I have no problems with it, I was able to put it in the PS5 and use it without doing anything extra (heard some articles say you to update on PC first). I have installed games on it and played them off this SSD with any issues. I did get this drive when it was on sale so my rating for value on drive is based on that and not what it may be at regular price.

Does what it’s suppose to do. Fast and easy installation. Pretty fast transferring games from console to ssd and ssd to console. I personally feel like I actually needed the 4TB since im already halfway full on this 2TB ssd but man its the price of a PS5. Especially these newer games coming out they take so much more space. If you have a lil bit of games then this will do but if you’re like me and have 20+ games you might just want to save up and get the 4TB ssd instead.

This is a Gen 4x4 m.2 2280 ssd. This has the required speeds for the ps5 if youre wondering. This is the best time to buy and replace HDDs with SSDs. Yeah its a bit more expensive compared to HDD by terabytes but SSD are far more reliable since they dont have moving parts like HDD. Its also a samsung drive so failure rates are very low, and if it fails samsung has pretty good warranties on these because they know they're good product.

Works perfectly in ps5. Says up to read speeds of 7000mb/s and ps5 reported 6503 mb/s. Nice storage upgrade, installed easily, fast, and with heat sink.

I absolutely would suggest this to anyone wanting more space in their PS5! I transferred over 336GB of game data from my internal to this SSD and it took less than 5 minutes to do so! You won't regret the purchase and it's super quick and easy to do!

Excellent upgrade for my PS5 memory storage. Easy to install. A bit pricey but, worth every penny. If you have a PS5 and can afford to drop $300 for the SSD upgrade, highly recommended.

I purchased this for my PS5. Installation was super easy and using the Best Buy Credit Card allowed me no interest for a year. I couldn't say no to $30 a month for a year. It made the purchase easier and now I dont have to transfer games back and forth with an external HDD drive. My PS5 now effectively has 2.67TB and I love it! I just bought Horizon Forbidden West Destiny 2 update and Pre-ordered GT7 DRM. This was a must buy for me. Happy I had the Best Buy Credit Card to make the purchase more reasonable.

The first m.2 I have owned. Bought it for the ps5. Easy installation. Good increase in memory and performance.

I installed this in my PS5. So far no problems, transfer times are incredible. Way faster compared my external SSD. There is a tutorial made by Sony on YouTube that made installing very easy, installation was done in minutes.
