    EASY INSTALL! Pretty straight forward. This is a great way to add storage to your new PS5 or pc with gen4 pcie. If you install on PS5 reinstall the cover plate as the way the heatsink is cooled is negative pressure.

    Works perfectly for the PS5. Put it in, powered up the PS5 and instantly recognized the drive and was able to format it with no issues. Moved some games over to it, it was smoother than my grandma's dance moves.

    Fantastic little SSD for my playstation 5, but also orginially bought it for my alienware laptop. It can do both (well not at the same time), you have to pick. But in both cases it works great as a had drive for a laptop/desktop (that supports the port), but also blazing speeds for your PS5, ONLY after you use the MAGIC software from Samsung to UPDATE the SSD, as out of the box it only gets 5300 Read speed, after FIRMWARE UPDATE (you need a pc for this, PS5 CANT DO IT), you will get 6500+

    It should be the first accessory purchase you make for your PlayStation 5. Casual users never have to worry about running out of storage potentially for the rest of the consoles commercial lifetime. I run all my frequently used online games through the card and the launch/ load times are lightning quick.

    Worth the price. The 980 is still a good option. The 990Pro is great as well but the speed difference is not noticeable if it is being used for the PS5. Plus to get the most speed out of the 990 PRO on your PS5, you had to download it to the latest firmware, but I think Samsung fixed that issue already.
