Fast and will hold plenty of games so I don't have to delete stuff to add new games.

I couldn’t believe how easy this ssd was to install into my digital PS5. I thought i would have to stay stuck with the internal 640gb that came free with my system. This SSD was a perfect fit and addition to my console. The load times are identical to ssd of my ps5. Installation is very easy. Highly recommend, especially when its on sale.

I play games that have more than 100Gb (looking at you MW2), so im limited to 5 games. Now thay I got the 2TB expanded storage i can download more games to play or try out with PS plus Extra. Now I wont have to sacrifice one game for another

While I see a lot of mentions online that the firmware needs updating, it wasn't necessary on my purchase. The ssd went into my ps5 and ran at the advertised speeds.

This is the best thing I've done to our PS5! I didn't even know they existed until a friend told me about it. No more deleting games to make room now. It literally took 5 minutes to install.

OMG Dalton & Ben kick butt. not to mention "totaltach" membership. I had built my system first one in about 15 years. first water cooler etc.. built an i7 12700k, RTX GEFORCE 3060 Ti Aurus Elite and I did a lowsy job of cable management. even had my fans going in the wrong direction etc.. but thanks to my total tach membership I was able to bring my system around the corner to best buy and have them clean up my system correct my mistakes and install an GEN 4 SSD that I had bought and all for free . included in my total tech member ship. this membership and the customer service I receive from Best buy is phenomenal. it has paid for it self a few times over. every time I buy some thing from best buy I wait til it is 50 days after I bought it and check their current price if its lower I open a chat window inform them of this send them my digital receipt and the next day the difference is added back to my card or account I have on file. my video card alone returned me over 100.00, just look at the before and after pics of my system.

Get it while its on sale these SSD are no joke when it comes to its original price but if you can afford go for it other than that just wait for it to go on sale again & for 399.99 that its priced at i think that its perfect for a 2TB & it really does work for your PS5

Definitely one of the best to get for an NVME SSD. I had to get an earlier batch that needed a firmware update to unlock its true potential. Before it, the read speed was around 5500MB/s. After the firmware update (via Samsung Magician), it bumped to 6600MB/s. 20% gain with one update. The only issue is this needed a PC to make it happen. If you get yours later this year, you have a much better chance of the SSD having this read speed patched. To know for sure, if your PS5 does NOT read your SSD in the 6000s for MB/s, it will need the firmware upgrade (which requires a PC with an available NVME port, and Samsung Magician on the PC, which is a free app).

Super simple to install once you slide off the plastic of the PS5. Formatting was literally just pushing a button and the initial speeds is very fast. I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is a very neat little gadget. It is very helpful and simple to install. My husband is now able to have all of his games in one location on his PS5.

Worked better than expected. Make sure you update your ps5 first before you install this m.2 device if you havent powered your unit on for the first time. Other i belive that may be why some people arent getting the advertised read speeds

got the 2TB version, and my read speeds are around 6600 MB p/s (recommended speeds are 5500 MB p/s) but overall recommend this hard drive 10/10
